OT: Looking for players for ballhockey in Lasalle in fall

The league is LSHL and it runs from September to December. It's 4-on-4 and they play on Sundays. I need 8 players. I'm going to hold pickups to try to put a team together. I already have a goalie. The league is a lot of fun and it's well organized. There is no fighting or anything stupid like that. Lots of scoring chances because it's a small gym. The league has a website with video on it. If you want more details, email or PM me. No age limit, just looking for people with decent skill who are in shape. Thanks!

I can send you the invitation if you give me your email. We're going to have pickups or maybe one pickup and then form the team after.

I think it's mostly French, but it's a mix. Most people are bilingual and everyone is generally friendly. And the ages go from early 20s to early 30s with a few people older than that, but not many (I'm 36, so I'm one of the few who still have the desire and am in shape to play ball hockey against 20 year-olds!).

The refs are very hands-on and very good too.

I think I remember you guys. You guys pass the puck like wizards if I remember right. I played for the Renegades, but I joined late in the season and our team was made up of spare parts, so we weren't that good.

It's a pretty good league, I wouldn't go crazy and say that it was an A league or anything. It's probably an average B league. A couple teams could qualify for A, but that's about it.

As for being in shape, it depends on what your role is. If you can score goals like a monster, but have a pot belly, we can find a fast winger for you. It depends. Not every single guy has to be in shape, but you have to be able to make up for it if you aren't in shape. The gym isn't that large, so your defensemen have to be smart.

PS: It's a no-checking league.

Well the reason why we were the best in the league was because of our shape. We played a High Octane pressure style all game long till other teams get tired and then we take over. The fun part is that 3/4 of our team was made of black people and the other teams got to see that we can play.

It's the same "league", in the summer we play in an arena (st-lambert) , and in the winter we play in a gym (College Français in Longueuil).

Saint-Lambert : 3 level of competition A, B, C.
Last winter (longueuil) there was only one level with 6 teams. I still don't know for this year.

ligue.ultimate@gmail.com for info
