Worst thing about that goal is the loss is now on Varlamov.

I imagine Varlamov as our Russian Rick Grimes and O'Byrne as the one-legged Hershel.

On the bright side, Greg Zanon got a point. That provides some humor to the situation.

Can't even get into the Zone w/ extra attacker...and when they finally did, it took way too long.

Comparing ROB to a one legged old man that looks like Santa is pretty insulting to the old man.

We need a freaking only half decent coach for gods sake.
yes the team needs to be coached. But the players need to start doing something if they aren't doing anything. I didn't say outwork them bullcrap and raw raw.

This team needs to start playing for each other, picking up the slack wherever it is possible. Thats why if Jones isn't going to be scoring he needs to start doing literally anything that can help the team win, even if its hitting or being a pest infront of the goalie.

Even if the thing they are doing is not being a 'liability'. E.g. not being the one who coughs up a routine outlet pass or a dump in or turn over.

Even just finishing scoring chances that are generated by the people actually trying to score. If Duchene or PAP or anyone create a play that could result in a goal if finished by another player, that players HAS to bury it.

Finishing has been a huge problem.

They should be ashamed of what they did tonight.

PAP is the only guy who gets clean papers today.
Palushaj was OK as well considering his role.

Duchene was ok offensively, but gave away the puck wayy too much in the d-zone.

Wild beat writer said the Avs were booed off the ice after the 1st period but they quickly turned the volume up on the music so people wouldn't notice.

Definitely heard some boos at the end of the game.

Wild now 11-2-2 in their last 15 here.

And you can guess who has been our coach during that tenure.

It always happens to rebuilding clubs, they play some godawful hockey like Avs and the rebuilding coach always gets fired when they're ready to become playoff contenders, happened to Oilers, Flyers, Blues, Habs, Sens, Kings, and Penguins.

I honestly didn't hear anything on the Avs feed. They should have been booed off the ice every period.

Wow that is a really embarrassing stat. It's not like the Wild is a powerhouse and we're an expansion team.

Bordy was great for his 3 shifts for 1:24! Stastny sucks. EJ's no Shatty. Jones is an AHL player. Pylons. Fire Sherman.

We should just make Jones - Stastny - McGinn our 3rd line.

They all play like 3rd liners anyway.

The Avs organization treats it's fans like ***********

Absolutely no media coverage by the team, nothing about management, etc. When tough times happen, they spin everything. When there's a public outcry, crank up music?

So we got crushed 3 times in a row by our own division?

When Zanon scores his first goal I'm going to lose my mind.

Edit: IF

EDIT: That's a big IF

Well that was sucktastic. I'm embarrassed to be an Avs fan right now, finally get healthier, win a couple of big games last weekend look to be gaining momentum, only to get spanked 3 games in a row by NW division teams.

This team has no compete level, they have no winners on this team. We have some solid players but we don't have a Sakic or a Forsberg or a Roy, someone who just can't stand to lose and can will a team to a victory.

Our coaching staff is beyond bad, as they seem to not be able to get their guys ready to play on a nightly basis.

I can't believe this once proud franchise, has fallen to this. I'd almost rather be watching Florida Panther games right now as at least they are interesting. It the same story every night for the Avs come out flat get down, then start to play a little better get back into it, only to fall apart again after the other team makes an adjustment.

How can somebody like Joe Sakic be involved with such a poorly run clown show?
