...and that is why my name is Habs13

That would have just made Samsonov in a #13 that much cooler!

Please explain what makes a number uglier than another one because, I just don't get it...

You don't have to get it as it's just a personal preference.I always hated # 15 in everything , from hockey numbers to loto quebec numbers .

#41 is a terrible number.

We don't need the player version of Thibault.

The numbers mentioned in this thread remind me of Bobby Smith, Brent Gilchrist and Mario Tremblay

Also Higgins is listed as a C for Center

I wonder if they mean to try him at center this year?
after playing a season as a winger u think they would change it?

Well, in regards to Ivanans at least, I believe he was partly brought over for his size and partly because he could help Kostitsyn out in Hamilton, where no other player (as far as i can remember) could speak the same language as him. And wasn't Langdon from Newfoundland? I seem to remember hearing that some Newfoundlanders have accents that can be difficult to understand. Could make for an interesting conversation between a Newfoundlander and a Belarusian just starting to learn English. All you'd need then is a drunk Glaswegian with a thick accent and you probably have yourselves the making of a 'Three men walked into a pub...' joke.

Pretty funny to see #20 given to Johnson right after Zednik is gone ... it will seem like making a statement.
