If you wanna boost your teams stats, play against us. Only EJ, one defenseman has looked close to decent.

Well the greatest head coach of all time decided to send our 2nd best defenseman this year back to the AHL.

His defensive system sure is working...

Seth Jones would look mighty good with them but watch them select Mckinnon or Druion.

Obviously they would be a 4th seed in the East

The only good thing about our team is our scouting department, so I have faith they will make the right choice.

Wild were a part of 2 of those games!

No, really.

Yeah, against the offensively challenged Wild as well.

All part of the plan to boost Western conference scoring totals so we can pretend we just got stuck in a high scoring conference and couldn't keep up.

The Blues aren't impressed. We had a 5 game stretch earlier this season when Halak was injured and Elliott was starting where we gave up 26 goals in 5 games.

We've already been down that road with Elliot, you can keep him.

Erik Johnson is good, but not elite. He looked very clueless on the Setoguchi 2nd goal. No idea what he was doing. I've never been impressed with his play.

Is that all? The Predators have let in 13 in the past two games, and we have Weber/Rinne

Why the surprise? We have Johnson and a ton of pylons. I can only imagine how Varlamov must feel playing behind our D. Oh, and we have the worst coach in the league.

Why do you also state the obivious in every thread you visit?

Holy crap, I must admit that is bad for a playoff contending team, I mean the Avs are still rebuilding; though getting close to the end.

To be honest the whole team besides Duchene and Pap looked terrible today.

Rebuilds Have got to be the most frustrating thing in the world, I wouldn't want to wish this on any team in the league.

I've been watching the Avs a little more recently (though, it's tough with those announcers)...and I literally said out loud after one of the goals, "why did the Avs hire so many #6 defensemen?"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the lineup is:

EJ -
-
Hejda - ROB/SOB/Zanon/Hunwick

What happened to Barrie? I guess just don't subject him to this?

Joe Sacco kind of reminds me of football coach Bruce Arians a little bit...everytime they pan over to him, he looks like he's about to knowingly give the wrong answer to something...

As a Parenteau hater, he's improved his game. Props to him, darts to me. Didn't think he'd be able to do it. There's nothing really great about him, but he's improved his skating enough to be able to swing with the big trees (as Pierre might say) and he's turning himself from a Quadruple-A player to an NHLer...good on him, that's not easy to do.

Playoffs? You're talking about playoffs?

Naa not this season, not at this rate.

I feel your pain, though.

Sacco is an idiot and should never be spoken about when he's fired. RUFF COME TO THE AVS PLEASE.

A lot of the goals were from terrible offensive player mistakes as well.
And surfing the Avs HF Board you would think Barrie was some elite defensemen. He was sent down because he is the only one that could be sent down. Can't have 8 NHL defensemen...
