As to even mentioning Grigerenko, you're joking, right? Canucks haven't had a prospect of his potential since the Sedins; our scouts are also members of the blind squirrel nation...
Reading isn't for everyone I see...I said that is likely what Gillis would ask for, not that I was endorsing such a move.

You drop one players name and posters start making wild assumptions...

I would love Ott, but I would rather see MG pay fair value than overpay for a bottom 6 guy.

"If he develops a shot" is a pretty major caveat, but I agree. That guy is essentially untradeable due to age, current ability and ceiling.

I see his potential as a Willie Mitchell defenseman (minus the edge).

also the team really cant afford Myers. Next year you are slated to have $19M in 5 Dmen. That is a lot. They need to move one for younger players to control the cap.
Myers sucks now.

and contract...

given his lack of offensive game, his contract will likley be controllable for awhile. And given this team's $$'s on defense, it'll help a lot having a guy like Tanev (steady and defensively great, but lack of offense will keep his earning potential down).

I believe Buffalo won that trade, Roy is not a leader and he can be very lazy. We don't miss him at all. Buffalo is loving Ott, we have never had a player like him, he give 100% and I personally think he should wear the C on this team. Ott is not going anywhere.

vancouver should be looking to St Louis, Steen would be a good fit.

No it wouldn't. Grigorenko alone is enough I would consider moving Schneider on.

I've been comparing him to Nashville's Kevin Klein for a year now. I don't think Mitchell's that great of a comparison TBH.
