Guys, there's nothing to worry about. It was the second period, remember? We got through it only allowing a goal, and we're not losing. It's about time these Devils get tired and we start to skate circles around them, it's gotta happen soon.

I actually thought PK Subban is our best player this game. No one playing too well though, aside Price.

He might be actually, only Subban and the Eller line have looked dangerous on the offensive end.

We've had worse 2nd periods, should be good when the Devils start getting tired. Am I the only one who thinks the Devils don't look great either? Real sloppy game.

they're not looking to hot, and this game reeks of Jacques Martin.. hopefully they get one early or take it to o.t.

Disagreed. It's been my observation that Prust really helps imposing a physical presence in the O-zone, something that we haven't been able to achieve so far. We just don't have enough space; our forecheck is hardly aggressive.

He has an unique puck protection technique that has him controlling the puck with one hand and using the rest of his body to fend off the opposition. If opponent is strong enough to push him down he uses the falling momentum to scoop/chip puck away with that one hand. He screws it up occasionally but not sure anyone else has that particular technique of controlling the puck.

So far a 4. But with Ryder gone too, the cumulative effect is a 7. Ad lib lines with diminished capacity.

Unlike Yannick Weber, who likes to fall down once a game, at least.

So they talk about embellishment and start off the video montage with Marchant. I wonder how Claude and the Bruins like that.

Never happened

We are definitely missing Prust, but it's the accumulation of injuries at this point, if anything Dumont is filling Prust's shoes decently even if he is small, the problem is we are missing so many forwards that we have Moen in our top 9 and Blunden playing.

Don't worry guys, barring an unlucky bounce, we've got this.

So far, props to Price, Subban, Gorges, Eller, Dumont and Eller. And Tinordi is impressive so far. Good for him. Pleks has been pretty decent at helping the shutdown. I think that should be his mission for tonight given who he's with and let Eller and DD's lines focus on the scoring. No more stupid penalties please.

But yes, I would really like to have Prust and/or Bourque tonight. Ryder too although he seemed a little slow last game.
