Tonight was no masterpiece, but good teams find a way to win even when they are not at their best. Last season, this would have been a loss.
Wisdom is this.

Well, sleeping on the couch after trying to mount my wife like a wild bronco while swinging my Habs jersey in the air. YEEEEHAAAAAAAAAA!!!! She was sound alseep of course...

Price won us that game. Could've gone either way but he shut the door when we needed him. So happy for him!

Good teams find a way to win. Someone always seems to step up.
Tinordi is a great skater for a kid his size. He looked very comfortable out there. He will be a regular come playoff time. He is about ready.

Remember last year when Moen was one of the most sought-after trade deadline players but he was injured and we couldn't trade him? What happened to that guy?

He looks a little too comfortable out there. Maybe its the new contract.

He's capable of more, and I hope he finds something especially for this time when the injuries are accumulating.

Price looks like he's back.

Just dropped in to give props to Subban. Thought he had a really strong game.

Oh and also Zidlicky, that was a beauty backhand pass to Tinordi for the winning goal.

Anyone watching the Wings - Canucks game? I might be alone, but love those retro Jerseys.

Thing is, this is one of hundreds of games where he's won it for us, but people forget fast. He will always receive the same criticism.

Very happy with this win. I don't care if they are boring, it just means we aren't getting pwned by the other team. Although this one was thanks to Carey, there were some good D plays and I'm super impressed with our prospects. Aside from Chucky and Gally, Dumont and Tinordi have shown us how good our future will be (I'm not lumping Eller into prospects).

The only person I thought struggled was Markov, but not a big deal.

That streak of games where Price sucked, he sucked. Today, he was great. Doesn't change the fact he sucked those few games.

Must be my advanced age. I remember listening to the Wright Brothers flight at Kitty Hawk on the tube radio as well.

an interesting comparison to the 4 seasons that the Canadiens got 120 pts in a full season after 28 games:

1972-73 - 17-4-7 = 41 pts (finished 52-10-16 = 120pts)
1975-76 - 20-5-3 = 43 pts (finished 58-11-11 = 127pts)
1976-77 - 20-4-4 = 44 pts (finished 60-8-12 = 132pts)
1977-78 - 19-5-4 = 42 pts (finished 59-10-11 = 129pts)

2012-13 - 19-5-4 = 42 pts

Forgot to add: IMO Subban's best game yet. He honestly should win the Norris, but people just cannot see how he's become such a great all-round D. Would much rather have him than Chara or Letang. And thus...I am very happy.

Was hardly a streak and nobody denied that he did for those two. It was more that he was helping us win the other games by being solid which is not a given.
