I know it's a longshot, but thought I would post here (also posted in the Swedish Prospect Update thread):
I know it's a crappy team in the Allsvenskan but does anyone here happen to watch Almtuna IS? Canucks' draftee from 2011, Ludwig Blomstrand, was recently traded there to play on their 1st line and has 3 goals and 1 assist through 6 games. Would be great to hear more about him, if possible. Thanks!
Västerås has had a successful February:
4-3 against Södertälje (well, that was January 31st)
4-0 away against Mora
4-3 against Oskarshamn
3-2 away against Djurgården in OT
4-1 against Malmö
2-0 against BIK Karlskoga
2-1 away against Leksand
So now they sit in third place, five points ahead of Karlskoga with three rounds remaining in the regular season. VIK's remaining games are against Asplöven and Örebro at home before finishing by visiting Karlskrona.
Goaltender Lars Johansson has been a big part of that streak. He has played all those games except the one against Södertälje and has been outstanding most of the times.
they will announce the winner of "Guldgallret" after the games today.
André Burakowsky
Alexander Wennberg
Jacob De La Rose
Mikael Wikstrand
Filip Forsberg
If they go strictly to the best player, I think it's Forsberg. If they go more after impressive season, Wikstrand and Wennberg are in the conversation. The nomination system(vote thing) is a joke though, no way that Burakovsky should even sniff this award while Åberg isn't a top5 nominee.

Agree. Åberg, Forsberg, Wikstrand and Wennberg have been by far the best U20 players. Djuse should also be ahead of Burakowsky and De La Rose. Forsberg should probably win it.
