Btw, I dont get this pissing contest going on. Zuccarello is not gonna replace either Richards or Hagelin. WTF? If then bring Zuke in, its because he can add something to the team, not replace Hags or Richards.
I thought like you that there would be no offer but if they have no plans to add him why even keep talking at all? I think they are in a wait and see how the team does right now.

Don't worry about those Richards/Hags posts. They are not very logical since Zooks played well with both of them.

If we loose tonight and the specialty teams are playing theire usual "hot potato" game then I could see an offer being made..

Zuc on the right line with the right people could be one of many difference makers..

Zuc on the wrong line with the wrong people could be invisable like so many others on our team..

About his demands, this is from capgeek and it shows his NHL and AHL salary;

2011-12: $900,000 $1,750,000

P. Bonuses: $850,000 S. Bonus: $90,000

AHL: $67,500

You don't need a calculator to see the gap in salary there..

wanna bet Zuccarello is signed in the next 48 hrs?

They are going to do that , deal a minor league contract or Gilroy to clear a spot and make it 49 again

Miller is going down

At least Zuccs would provide offense, which is more than what any of our players besides Nash and Callahan can say. Oh and Stepan and Hagelin too

You seriously don't get the diffrence between stating that a player has had 60 pts seasons and calling the said player a 60 pts player?

Sure Zucc wouldn't help this team.

We scored a goal against Buffalo and a goal against the Jets. No team can score every game. How much offense do you want? We need more grinders.

Speaking of JAM, how much are we missing Jonathan Audy-Marchessault?

Drafting Thomas ahead of Toffoli. McIlrath instead of Tarasenko/Kuznetsov/Faulk/Bennett

I'm not a Zucc fan at all. But even if I was, he'd play like 8 minutes, and sit the entire 3rd period anyway with this coach.

key word. rangers system relies on everyone (even 7.5 million dollar per year snipers) playing flawless defense and then hoping to get a lucky bounce on offense.

I agreed with most of what you said but in this one case you did NOT simply say that he has had 60 pt seasons you said that he REGULARLY has 60 pt seasons.

He most certainly has not regularly had them he has regularly scored beyond 60pts.

However thats semantics and hyperbole and is immaterial to your arguement. The point you are making and the point I agree with is that he is not 20-30 yo Brad Richards anymore he is now severely overpaid garbage pale player Brad Richards and I agree with the thinking that Zuke would give us more than Richards has this year. Singin may think he is worth more than ZUke. Thats ok. We just disagree no big deal.

The fans are calling for this guys. The papers are calling for this guy. I do not understand it. They act like we never score when we already scored 2 goals this week.

At this point. Just take the chance on MZA. Send Miller down, and see how it goes.

I'm surprised something has not done after so many 0-1 goal games.

I wont be shocked to see his rights dealt to a team and they sing him for this yr and next one way.

Boyle, Zukes rights may get a descent 3rd line C back. A team like FLA. Goc is a pretty good target
