Alright time for the HUT SOTW Team Update:

Team Name: OttawaOilers
Team Chemistry: 97
Team Salary: 34,320
~ - Scratch
* - New Addition

Michael Grabner SOTW (88 Overall | Captain) - Mike Richards SOTW (90 Overall) - Alex Semin SOTW (88 Overall | Assistant Captain)
Wayne Gretzky Legend (91 Overall) - Joe Pavelski SOTW (89 Overall) - *Jeff Carter SOTW (90 Overall)
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins SOTW (86 Overall) - Patrice Bergeron SOTW (90 Overall) - *Tyler Seguin SOTW (88 Overall)
Chris Kunitz SOTW (88 Overall) - Sam Gagner SOTW (87 Overall) - *Chris Stewart SOTW (88 Overall)
~Nail Yakupov (74 Overall)

Ryan Suter SOTW (90 Overall) - Erik Karlsson SOTW (90 Overall)
Tobias Enstrom SOTW (89 Overall) - Nicklas Kronwall SOTW (89 Overall)
Brian Campbell SOTW (88 Overall) - Brooks Orpik SOTW (87 Overall | Assistant Captain)

Craig Anderson SOTW (89 Overall) - Ben Bishop SOTW (85 Overall)
~*Cory Schneider SOTW (88 Overall)
Robin Lehner (81 Overall)

And I'll also provide a short summary on all the new additions after I just played a few games with them:

Jeff Carter SOTW: 1 word, Mammoth. He is very versatile, he could play on any side I find and if need be and true to say he is a Natural Center(78 for Faceoffs) so he could go on any Side or in the middle. I have him on the wing and he did fine. He is very hard to knock off the puck and he has a bomb for a Slapper. His stats don't lie, he is a very well-rounded SOTW player, he can hit aswell as the 89 says. I'd recommend picking him up.

Tyler Seguin SOTW: Great little offensive player, and if a Bruins fan you'll obviously want to pick this kid up or just a fan of decently cheap offensive players (around $100K) he's a nice player to have. Recommended.

Chris Stewart SOTW: Perfect 3rd line, 4th Line player. Especially as a "Grinder" but is a true to form Power-Forward. He is a perfect at that. He can score, hit well and a good thing to hear is he seams faster than 86 at Skating. Recommended.

Cory Schneider SOTW: If a Canucks fan or looking for a Decent goalie for decently cheap he could be given a shot by you. At 1st he seamed to do good, making the easy saves and a nice rob here and there but in the end he let in some late goals. Most SOTW goalies aren't spectacular and he isn't an exception. I wouldn't pay anymore than $20-25K if I were you. Coming out of the Synopsis' he is For Trade/Sale so LMK.

There you have it. Some recommendations and Team Update.

Glad you're liking Carter. You're building a pretty dangerous team.

Thanks again. Yeah, I've been trying. Still missing a few more pieces to make me 100% satisfied believe it or not. But this'll definetly do for now. Could say the same about yours, it looks just as Sexy.

There's one problem with the 3-line setup; In the game I just played, both Selanne and Oshie got injured back to back in the first period so I had to use Stewart for 45 mins total in the game..

//And the next game, my internet cuts off 7 seconds before the end when I'm leading 5-0 against someone playing their first game, yay

Rip-off Alert

EA steals money by not delivering on a purchased product and the not answering their customer service phone line.

Buyer beware.

got burned by a jumbo pack the other night (best and really only player of value was a tyler myers. 3rd myers i've pulled) but i decided to try one more time this morning.

pulled:

lehtonen
SOTW bobrovsky
SOTW kessel
gagne
alfredsson

not a bad haul.

now the question is whether to keep or sell/trade sotw kessel.

this is the team i am running with, but i have a lot of spares that i rotate in and out. all players have been team changed to buffalo and position changed where needed.

SOTW vanek (89 overall) (A) - LA gretzky - SOTW pominville (C)
parise - kesler (A) - gaborik
marleau - SOTW pavelski - malkin
SOTW ladd - SOTW lecavalier - nash

SOTW ehrhoff - SOTW suter
phaneuf - myers
weber - doughty

hasek
rinne

spares:
gagne, SOTW williams, p. kane, e. kane, horton, hall, havlat, bouwmeester, burns, j johnson, e johnson, SOTW bishop, SOTW lehtonen. and now that list includes SOTW kessel and SOTW bobrovsky.

im debating switching out my 4th line to a "scrub" line in an effort to battle ice tilt (which i can assure you is definitely real), but i love throwing that 4th line out as they are all big players who can hit and maintain good puck possession. my second line is probably the most dominant line i've put together, relentless forechecking and kesler and parise are always good backchecking as well.

i'm on 360, if that matters.

I say keep Kessel since your team is already good. If you had a bad team then I would say sell.

Change your line up all you want, I'm bringing my A+ game when we play again.

SOTW Ladd (A) - Spezza (C) - Kessel
E. Kane - Kesler - Nash, (A)
Semin - E, Staal - Carter
Sharp - M, Richards - Perry

Phaneuf - Myers
J, Johnson - Weber
Bouwmeester - Burns

Lehtonen
Luongo

Only change I've made is add a second 88+ goalie so I have two starters and can play again online after a loss.

Switched my team back up to Leaf players to make things interesting. I know Orr is in the game, does anyone know if Mclaren or Komarov are in?

Another cheap good goalie you guys should try is Henrik Karlsson from the Flames. He's only an inch shorter than Bishop is and on my team his SV% is 92.0 when Bishop is at 89 with about the same amount of games played. I bought him for 200 pucks so he shouldn't be too expensive to try out either.

So I already have two offers for the entire Canadian WJC team . figure you can fetch 75k+ but I'm taking best offer, no matter how low.

- Highest total value wins
- Ease of liquidation counts, I'll take 40k pucks or 1 card over 45k worth of 3-4 cards
- PSN: Major_Wipe (down for friendly games too) or PM me here.

- Decision will be made tomorrow night
