So, let's say Soderberg's team loses the series.. could he come here as soon as they lose? Or does he need the okay from his GM?

Highlights. They interviewed Söderberg in the first intermission, I was hoping there might be a glimpse of that in the highlights video, but no. :/

Yes.

And then there is that teeny matter of actually agreeing to and signing a contract. Chia stated that yesterday in the Globe.

Teams all too close together. Nobody yet thinks they are out. Krejci's injury or lack thereof means a lot in the equation. If he's ok, Chia looks within for help until teams fall out. Yeti does or doesn't show up. If he does look for Chia to look for D.

What about our prospect Chudinov? Is he out of the question to be possibly signed?

Chudinov is a defenceman. And, right now, all our D-men are healthy.

If he were to sign a contract, he wouldn't help the team right away. He'd go to Providence. What we're looking at here is a forward for the third line. Soderberg won't be going down I-95 to begin his Bruins career.

If D is added. It will be a veteran.

According to eliteprospects.com, his KHL contract runs through next year. Getting out of a KHL contract is a lot harder than a SEL or SM-Liga. So, in short, no he can't be signed (it's a little more complicated than a simple no, but it's pretty close to a definite no).

I read this thread to learn more about the Yeti.

Instead, I was treated to Sabaton.

I now have high hopes for the Yeti.

Is he even available? You could probably get Whitney cheap, but who would be riding pine? McQuaid or Hamilton?

Is Whitney better than McQuiad? Or Ference? I never get to see him play.

Whitney is an offensive d-man.Good on the PP, has really fallen off this year, not surprising given the situation in Edmonton and the coach is a moron. I doubt we'd ever see Ference sit, so my guess would be McQuaid.

pending UFA 4mil and change, someone is going to get em. Rumors last year Chia already tried once.

That's a tough call. Probably depends what their confidence level is w/ Dougie going into the playoffs. Ference is the guy that gets my heart rate up these days more than anyone. I know, he's been better lately, but when he's off it comes in consistent bunches.

With the King's ransom that hack of a GM Tambellini asks for in return for his players, I'd hope PC is staying a country mile away from any trade talks with Edmonton.

If the Bruins are talking with Dallas about Morrow, I'd hope they would be inquiring as to what needed to be added in a deal to also land Robidas.

I don't think they value Whitney as much as the other players
