There is some panic setting in for the Bruins faithful. Sounds familiar. Perhaps free Prozac is needed for loyal yet "erratic" fans of all teams including ours...perhaps especially ours.

Feels really good that they finally catched up in gp and are still behind.

Lol, just what was Kostitsyn thinking? Loses the puck, opponent is on the rush, and he heads to the bench on a change. Oilers score shorthanded on a 2-on-1.

I am not sure I've EVER seen a player quit on a play like Sergei Kostitsyn just did. That was obscene, taking a seat while OIl score

He is doing it for us. He still cares about the Habs success and wants us to have a higher pick.

To SK's defense....you feel that he didn't recognize the 2 on 1. Just thought that the Oiler was going on a 1 on 1 with the D, reason why he'd "gave" up.

Cole?????

And out of that lineup, only Prust and Tinordi would drop the gloves?

Suicide. Bruins and Leafs would love playing the Habs every night.

R Miller is just ridiculous. Always whining to the media. Kaleta is a PoS but you don't call out your teammate behind a mic.

Wow and to think some here still miss Skost, what a totally worthless player. That is the kind of player you keep far away from your team.

No it really seemed like he wasn't looking at that far wing and headed towards the bench. Bad awareness but it's actually rare for him. He's developed into a decent 2-way guy in Trotz' system.

Devils send down Stefan Matteau

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=418456

Wow. First Grigorenko, now Matteau

But i think the NHL stint helped him more than it did for Grigs

They juggled Matteau all around the lineup. When he played top 6, he looked in over his head and it's wasteful to his development to toil on the 4th line. Never understood that decision to keep him around.

Why didn't they send him to AHL?

Grigorenko couldn't be sent to AHL but Matteau can.

You think the Armada didn't make a call to Lou to get preference over the AHL? Matteau can benefit from the playoffs imo.

Maybe because he wasn't even putting up point per game numbers in the Q?

Considering Matteau's somewhat limited upside, I don't think NJ losing a year off his ELC matters much. He'll likely be a cheap re-sign when his contract is up.

Only problem was that he was one of the pointmen and he initially looked like he was giving chase. Yeah, first timer, but still, since he's a pointman, that means 3 other guys are going to be stuck with no way to catch up.
