Question about rds

Does anyone know if rds is going to be showing all 82 habs games this season?? I had rds the past two years but since one was a lockout season i was just wondering if they does this every year or was it only last year they did it because we missed a year of hockey. Thanks

yes, they will show all 82 games. They have shown all 82 for as long as I can remember.

lol yeah, that deal's been on for what - 2 years? I still remember TQS showing games, and I don't even live in Montreal.

RDS didn't have the TV rights until a couple years ago. Before it was Radio-Canada on saturday and TQS on Tuesdays/Thursdays.

Before this current contract, games were split between Radio-Canada, TQS and RDS. Canadiens playoffs games were on Radio-Canada.

I remember watching the Saturday night game on TV, and listening on the radio the rest of the week. Those were the days.

They didn't show all 82 games last season. They showed the Canadian Jr's over the Habs once or twice last season.

I miss Le Hockey du Jeudi Soir on TVA (back when hockey started at 8 on a weeknight) followed by Hors-Jeu avec Michel Beaudry. If you've never seen Patrick Roy dressed up as an indian in one of their ridiculous skits, you're missing out.

I remember when the jumbotron in Buffalo fell onto the ice...

They did a skit pretending that it fell on them. Michel Beaudry and the skinny nerd guy... Francois?

I'm talking about the show that was on in the mid 80's, so way before the Jumbotron fell onto the ice. Mario Tremblay co-hosted.
