IMO? Kristo is a winner. He could have easily signed and left the team for cash as a 20 year old. He openly stated that he would like to win a championship with the organization he so loves. That my friends is the hallmark MT has driven into our current squad (how, I do not know). Oh, he's one hell of a hockey player as well. Embrace his passion! Direct it! MT can do this.

North Dakota is ranked 5th in the nation... just like Danny.

So Hudon's Chicoutimi team will play the Remparts in round 1.

Great rivalry, but that should mean Hudon's eliminated in 10-14 days...he better join Hamilton once that happens.

Archambault's Voltigeurs will face Rouyn-Noranda.

Bozon's Blazers will face Victoria.

Dietz and Thrower's Blades will face Medicine Hat.

Hudon has been through quite a bit this season. Regardless of the duration of his playoffs, I would prefer he rests and starts his summer training.

With the Vail news, it seems obvious Hudon will get the same opportunity.

Wow.....what a highlight reel goal by Corban Night. Kristo gets an assist 2-0 UND.

I want Corban Knight....come on Bergevin...make it happen!

We will most likely wait before we sign Kristo....3-0 Mid 2nd period. Total domination so far.

Total domination, 5-0 UND, Kristo and MacMillan are fairly invisible so far.

I'm not sure a lost today would have meant they wouldn't have get a bid for the Frozen Four.

Great celebration from ND. Great crowd...totally rocking. Great story with Tate Maris, senior goalie they put in in the 3rd. The goalie never saw ANY regular season or playoff action with ND until today. Made a routine save, not even sure if it was on the net, and people gave him a standing O.

Great celebration at the end, our own Mark McMillan is closing the celebration after giving high fives and low fives to everybody. And nothing would have been complete without, on his own, a prayer from Rocco.

Great game tonight. Again...both of our prospects will really quiet games. Kristo a little more present, would have had a goal if McDonnell would have given the puck on a 2 on 1 just prior to his, McDonnell, lucky goal from behind the net. But anyway, a very good game. Great game by Saunders in net for ND.

Minnesota State are next. Won't be as easy. But they should win this series.

With this win und is pretty much guaranteed a spot in the national tournament. The regionals are hosted march 29-31, so that would be the earliest Kristo would sign. Latest would be April 13th if they are in national championship game. He will probably sign the day after und gets eliminated, although I've seen players sign the same night of elimination.

I'm so excited/anxious to see if Kristo can transition to the NHL. I think his quickness of hand and foot could serve him very well at the NHL level. He was pretty impressive at the World Junior level and that was 3 years ago. And he has gotten better and stronger since then.

Knight is great at face-offs, but panthers look like they need all the help they can get. If the Habs can't land a FA goalie prospect, I wouldn't mind to see the Habs kick the tires with the panthers on their goalie prospect Sam Brittan who lost his starting job to the Fin (that I badly want the Habs to get but I don't know if he will turn pro this summer or go back to Denver)

Correct, a loss last night and they likely would have made it since they were high enough in the pairwise unless there were a few upsets next weekend. Denver is in the same boat although a little worse since they weren't as high up as ND as they didn't have as tough a schedule as ND.

So we'll have to wait to see if Denver can squeak in or not. They are on the bubble so they will need as few upsets as possible. Michigan has worked their way into contention but likely will still have to win the CCHA championship in order to make it. What a turnaround though as they weren't even in the top 30 and that's something you never see from Michigan late in the season as they have the longest streak of making the Frozen Four at 22 years and counting I believe. Going to be an interesting weekend for both Michigan and North Dakota (who are trying to win their 4th WCHA championship in a row, no team had ever won 3 in a row before)

The Habs prospects have been having impacts, especially Kristo,I truly hope that the Sioux take it all this year.Bennett and Kristo have been my favorite players in college ranks these last four years,Mac starting the year after Danny.Other than those two I still have great hopes for RD Josiah Didier the shutdown defenceman for Denver Pioneers. While players like Didier and Tinordi don't often draw the accolades from the fans they should, their teammates and the goalies they play in front of most certainly are aware their quiet, unassuming play leads to Championships.Timmins has chosen wisely and the Habs are bound for greatness once again.Bergevin has brought together the best front office people to surround their young team with a winning approach at all levels on their way to that greatness.

Good to know, not surprising considering his talent. He just needs to get his head in the game constantly and he will be excellent on the Habs.

I see the list of College Free Agents is out and the top two are Def. D.Dekeyser and A.Sustr the RD of UNO-a 6'8"-225lbs.behemoth he played for Czech-WJC/U20 in 2010 for those that remember since then he's played for Youngstown in the USHL and two years in college for UNO.Also on def. Mike Boivin a senior with Minnesota that has been a great player in my eyes 6'1"-190 lbs.his game is well rounded.A.Laganiere C/RW-6'4" -215 lbs could be the Habs Joel Otto, good two-way player with offence,as a bonus he's from Montreal. Eric Hartzell the goalie that everyone raves about,(and why not)then LW Ryan Walters no relation to our ex-veteran but a very consistent scorer, leads the NCAA in Pts.52 and fifth in goals with 22.Some real eye openers get the wallet out and sign on the free agents the Habs need to make the SC run. Then trade the players that get us under the Cap for draft picks, like the NYR's and Flyers are doing right now. There is also Drew LeBlanc C"-198 lbs.good two-way player with an eye for the net, giving the Habs a player for each position. My favorites are Dekeyser,Sustr,or Boivin on def. and Laganiere C/RW with LW Walters close 2nd.

For you guys who have watched Kristo, or kept a fairly close eye on him, where do you think he ends up next year? Does he have a chance at cracking the roster out of camp, or most assuredly get some time in Hamilton?
