I met Granlund (and the rest of the Aeros) today

Hey all you Minnesotans! I got the opportunity to skate and get autographs from the Aeros players today, including the likes of Scandella, Kuemper, and FBJ himself! I told Kuemps that he really played good while he was up in in Minnesota and that we all appreciated it, and he thanked me. Then I skated over to Granlund (who was skating by himself for virtually the entire event) and got into a conversation with him. I asked him if he knew about the Finnish Baby Jesus nickname, and he didn't and was surprised about it actually. He said "I don't know about that..."

Anyway, here's me with Granlund. Bulmer is the one taking the photo

OMG, StealthClobber touched FBJ!

Good to know he's now aware that he's being called FBJ by some. Hopefully he didn't take that comment too seriously.

Both awesome (you got to meet Granlund) and sad (he didn't know about FBJ) at the same time!

Cool story, and thanks for sharing!

I hope Granlund was nicer than he looks in that photo.

How was Scandy's mood? And thanks for telling Kuemper "Good Job" from all of us. He did a great job while up with the WIld.

Granlund was nicer than he looks there, he just got done doing a bunch of autographs and skating around for almost an hour (and I did call him FBJ earlier lol). Scandella was cool, I told him he needs to get back up with the Wild (semi-jokingly) and he was like "Yeah, I know right? We'll see." I shoulda asked one of the 3 of them who were up with the Wild recently if they know about the Pitbull thing. If they didn't I'd be all over that lol

Not sure what it is about the picture but you both look short. I guess I just imagine Granlund being a little guy.

At least in Finland he has a reputation of a humble, nice guy. Doesn't care much about publicity but treats fans with respect.

Good that philips is taking some skating lessons
He really needs it!!

Why wouldn't granny be cranky he got thrown around in the wild lineup with ice cold line mates all over the place and was scratched when he finally started to deliver

Granny needs to start the party violently in houston and stop mourning the nhl roster spot!!
