is that lineup confirmed? id hate to see alberts' run of solid play be ruined just because AV has a hate on for him and decides to play ballard over him instead

Now that would be fun to watch, add a little life to our squad. It seems to be working for Ottawa
I don't think Jensen will get called up, but it would be awesome to see. Also I don't know if Ebbett will get scratched, but it would be interesting to see what happens. Hansen/Raymon/Jensen would be cool to see.

Have fun hopefully it's a better one than most of our recent games

lol. I hope Sweatty Bill is the call up just for the sheer ridiculousness of it all. He can play with Ebbett and Pinner to form the ultimate AHL line.

oh wait. That's not even a great line in the AHL?

Well then...

I hope so too! Apparently the Southsiders will be at this game, so it should be a fun atmosphere.

Hoping Jensen gets called up, just so I can watch his first NHL game! Completely selfish reasons, I know.

Bleargh. Not going to be happy unless we get a blowout.

I don't care about the W, all I want to see is that this team at least has the potenital to go into beast mode, and may do so in time for the playoffs.

That's what I do every lecture!

I'll be glued to Twitter too, to see if Jensen has been called up.

Most important regular season game since the Boston matchup.

Game 7 vs. NYR in 1994? Game 7 vs. BOS in 2011?

They don't come close to the importance of Game 28 in a lockout shortened season in 2013 versus the Minnesota freaking Wild.

Completely agree. With all the injuries, we aren't getting any reinforcements any time soon. We have to come out and show we are the better team.

Clearly this game is the most important one EVAR....at least for AV if he wants to keep his job.

Going to go with a 5-1 Canuck win.

Henrik (x2), Tanev, Garrison, Hansen
Suter

Going all optimistic for my first game.

You guys may not agree with this but it may be the best option to balance the scoring IMO

Sedin-Sedin-Kassian
Jensen-Burrows-Higgins
Raymond-Schroeder-Hansen
Weise-Lappy-Sestito

May not have as much chemistry but the team looks a lot more balanced. Jensen and Kassian are interchangeable.

Really hope Jensen gets a look here. Way too many AHL grinders in this lineup right now.

Jensen can score goals, and that's something this team obviously needs right now.

It's to a point where my expectations are so neutered that I will probably not be too overly critical of this team from here on out. This team is battered, and the defense still hasn't sorted out their ****, and our bottom 6 is mainly comprised of AHL fodder. In many ways, this is like the 05/06 season where we iced a bunch of beer league players on D. In fact, I recall San Jose eliminating this team from playoff contention in 06, and not a single **** was given.

Though I am a hockey fan, and will be hoping for an exciting game. Hopefully we see a spirited divisional affair.

Battered???

Our defence is 100% healthy, both starting goalies are healthy, the entire first line is healthy, we are missing Kesler which is big but every team loses a guy like him during a season, Booth who has given us nothing production wise, and Kassian who has been relegated to grinder status and hasn't scored in 6 weeks.

Even with those couple injuries we shouldn't be playing the way we are, yes our GM has brought in terrible depth players but I still expect us to win games based on a healthy D, good goaltending and out first line.
