Ovechkin vs Oates

Who is the best Capitals player all time?

Oates is a playmaker but Ovechkin is a goal scorer.

Jeff Schultz is ten times the playmaker Oates ever was.

Craig Laughlin, duh.

Seriously, how can anyone have forgotten Milan Novy.

For the record, I was at the game when they announced Dmitri Kristich would be playing here, and actually predicted it. He walked out on the ice between periods IIRC, and the place went nuts.

I would think Bondra would go up against OV for greatest Cap way before Oates.

Oh wait, this is a joke thread. My bad.

I would throw Randy Holt's name into the mix, but I don't want to come across as Len Biased. Ok he may not quite be the best, but he was about the toughest SOB to ever lace them up here.

Speaking of Len Bias, he may well have been the best Terp ever.
