It has been crazy indeed. I'm in Ville St. Laurent, and getting like constant lightning... barely any stops. Just light flash after light flash.

yeah i'm just south west of montreal right now and it's nut. My power just ran out for a minute and it flashed at least 10 times. Strong winds but nothing scary yet.. about 50-60km/h i'd say.

Go there to get the latest radar image. This image is updated every 10 minutes normally.

As you can see, the west island will get the big part of it...

Same. There was this point the wind was really strong. I hear sirens all over the place.

Yeah, I was just looking outside and trying to count how many lighting per minutes I'd see, I couldn't even count after 15 seconds, at least 35 lightning outside in about 15seconds.

Heavy rain now and about 70km/h winds.. If such rain goes on only for another hour i wouldn't be surprised to hear about some flooding tomorrow...

I was in the West Island...My car broke down and the tow truck was literally just unloading my car at the dealership when BAM a huge bolt of lightning struck and everything went pitch black. All of Sources boul. was in total darkness, so windy my cap blew off my head and dirt was flying everywhere. I get into my mom's car and we drive down Sources and its pandemonium...Cars slamming on the breaks at intersections and sirens everywhere. Power was back on on the 40east but the rain was nuts...Got back to TMR and trees are down everywhere.

My GF just called me...She's a monitor for a day camp and she's with 20 kids at the Guzzo in the West Island...She has to walk with all the kids back to City Hall which is about 10 minutes away and she has to cross Sources with them. I'm really worried because cars are just not stopping when I was on Sources...
