You should, even if the set list isn't amazing. They're always good live.

Man these guys put on a great show.

Highlights

-Matt Bellamy tossing his guitar in the crowd during Uprising. Started a frenzy that ended with about 60 people on the floor. Matt looked back all apologetically like "I should've known that **** would happen" luckily I was right outside the vicinity of it.

-Unsustainable is not my favorite song by any stretch, but seeing it performed live is seriously amazing. Bass was so heavy.

-All the lights were incredible. The stage set up was awesome. Not as bombastic as the stage on the Resistance tour. More intimate this way.

-Supremacy is an awesome song to listen to live. So is Knights of Cydonia. The crowd was going wild.

-Always amazing to me how few songs the fans actually know. Blows my mind that these people will sit in line for 5 hours to be able to stand for another 5 hours to watch a band to whom they only know the lyrics to like 3 or 4 songs.

-Dead Sara may not be my thing, but she's the first frontwoman I've ever seen that had a natural rocker swagger. Haley Williams and others force it and act like they're badass...the "I can rock as hard as any guy" attitude. This girl can sing, entertain, and she really can rock as hard as pretty much any guy...looking at some of today's pop punk bands, probably harder.

-The electro-bass used in Madness is really something to see.

Why are they using a pop-punk band as a support group? Record label or something?

Dead Sara isn't exactly pop punk. I said pop punk to describe a guy like...say...the guy from All Time Low. Bands like that. Emily Armstrong rocks harder than guys like that.

How was the setlist? Aren't they alternating Plug In Baby and Stockholm Syndrome during the tour or something?

Just got back from the Toronto show.

Amazing. It was the fourth time I've seen them and this was the best one yet. I was lucky enough to get against the guardrail too so I had a wicked viewing spot. I wasn't a huge fan of 2nd Law but a lot of the songs translate live amazingly especially Unsustainable and Madness. I was a bit bummed that none of Origin of Symmetry was played nor was Hysteria but it was still amazing.

By far, the best portion of the evening was during the encore break when the entire building lit up with camera flashlights and literally illuminated the entire building while people screamed. A breathtaking sight.

10/10. Best live act I've seen. I wish I was going again tomorrow.

Setlist from tonight for those interested - likely with errors, my memory ain't perfect:

Isolated System
Supremacy
Map of the Problematique
Supermassive Black Hole
Panic Station
Resistance
Knights of Cydonia
Explorers
Follow Me
Undisclosed Desires
United States of Eurasia
Madness
Time is Running Out
Liquid State
Stockholm Syndrome
Unsustainable
Uprising

Starlight
Survival

Third time for me. They have better taste in their live song lists than they sometimes have on their studio albums, but they always seem to leave the really self-indulgent stuff out of their programmes. And then the stuff they chose to play in concert, they just transform, making the songs so much more powerful live than in the studio. And another presentation and light show that has to be seen to be believed. They somehow manage to keep topping themselves. Great, great concert band.

Excellent set list, though I could have lived without Panic Station.

I've warmed up to Panic Station. Reminds me of 80's music a little.

I didn't like it much at first either, but I started listening more carefully and noticing its similarities to Queen and bam, insta-like.

Trying to talk some of my friends into going to a show in September. They both like a couple songs, but aren't really fans of the band, though are aware of their live show prowess. Any selling points I should use from those of you of have been to a show since T2L came out?
