I'm trying to come up with my team name. So I have Neal, Semin, Steen and Benn on my team.

I was thinkin "Neal for my Semin", but am trying to think of a way to include Benn in this. Any suggestions?

How about Neal for my Steeny Semin?

I'm now 1-2. I have the most points overall though! Moral victory!

48-0?

I'm 2-1-0, and am now in 3rd place in the league. Not bad, if I do say so myself.

I wish Perron, Ryan, or Ennis would pick up their play and allow me to solidify one of them as my other starting LW. My RW with P Kane and Eberle is solid, and I also have Neal, but my other wing is pretty meh.

Backstrom should pick up his play soon enough, then my 1-2-3 punch of Stamkos, Tavares, and Backs will be good.

None of you guys probably care, but I joined a "pro" yahoo league with a $20 buy in, that if you win you get $100. I am now comfortably in last place with a record of 7-22-1. Closest person to me is 10-16-4. I'm ****ed

So, Jeff Skinner has been out a while with a concussion.

Hope he returns soon, or my team is screwed

So that Landeskog guy, Nash fellow and Enstrom gentleman are all injured? Don't worry. I got depth.

Good thing Tyler Myers has been delivering.

I guess you got it worse than I do.

Also, isn't Landeskog returning today?

I had to dump Karlsson, pretty much the only injury problem I've had.

I am also currently carrying four goalies. Anybody want to make an offer for one? Cam Ward, Martin Brodeur, MA Fleury, and Evgeni Nabakov. I'll take a defender.

Should I do Seguin for Gaborik?
Gaborik is super streaky and has been off lately. Seguin has been doing better lately.
My league does reward slightly more for goals so I'm pretty interested, but its a short year so what if Gabby's streaks don't have enough time to get going. Both get good PP time too.

Gabby: 7g 4a in 17gms (9 pts came in only 3 games)
Seguin: 3g 7a in 15gms (much more spread out)

Thoughts?

Its just a one season league right? Not a long term keeper league?

If its just one season i think its interesting. Keeper is a no go. Gaborik and the rest of NYR is going to get stuff going. Way too much talent not to be in the top 10 goal scoring teams in the league. Whether it comes sooner or later and whether those points come too late is a toss up. Seguin is also multi position. Gaborik is only useable on the RW in most systems.

Personally, i'd suggest staying with Seguin. Could just be me though.

Yea I think I'm just going to stick with Seguin. His shooting percentage is quite low so he is bound to start getting some goals soon.

I also just traded Steen for Eberle. Steen has been pretty hot for me, but I think he is going to cool off pretty hard where as Eberle hasn't really got going yet. I think I won that trade. How about you guys?

Happy I got Voracek from Waivers at the expense of Mikkel Bodker. Best move I've made all season.

Who would you guys start in goal tonight?

I have Dan Ellis of Carolina starting against the Rangers
& Anders Lindback of Tampa against the Flyers.

Both guys aren't the most reliable and playing against teams who have potential to score some goals. I am leaning towards Ellis, but Lindback has been playing well lately.

Philadelphia is bound to have an offensive explosion at some point. It might just happen against Tampa's iffy defense.

I'd say go with Ellis. But that's just me.

I got Ellis on my other fantasy team, would you start him if my other goalie is Smith (PHX) vs. Kings?

They are my only two goalies playing tonight and I don't HAVE to start both or either. I have been getting burned lately on goalies playing out of their minds against good teams and that is when I have them on my bench. That happened to Smith last time he got the SO vs. the Kings. But I don't want to get behind the 8 ball right away and have him give up 4+ tonight. But at the same time he plays the Kings good.

Anyone help with my dilemma?

Thats a tough one but I think I would go with Smith. He can really steal a game if things are going his way. That being said I think Carolina has a better chance of winning their game, but Ellis isn't going to give you great numbers even with the win. Higher risk but higher reward with Smith. But thats only my advice take it or leave it.

Edit: looks like I was wrong. Rangers had a ton of shots tonight and Ellis played great. Smith is already down 2 but who knows they could come back.

UGH!!!! I lost the championship in the Boston-Ottawa game. Piffles your a cheater!!! You added only Boston and Ottawa players that were on free agency yesterday so you could rack up points in that last game. Smart move. Wish I was that smart. I would of won if I kept up with the roster all week. Good season though guys.
