I think Nyander and Straka will remian. Possibly Prucha moving up but I dont think he will go past a 2nd line spot for a while( atleast a month) That would leave Prucha-Cullen-Shanny on the second I would think.

Jagr - Nylander - Shannahan would be a nice line...a good combation of everything.

Nah, not Shanny.

It's probably gonna be:

Straka-Nylander-Jagr
Shanahan-Cullen-Prucha/Hall

I like it this way for more balance, cause then you can have it followed by:

Prucha/Hall-Immonen-Ward
Hollweg-Betts-Ortmeyer.

Awesome lines IMHO.

I don't. Puts too much scoring on the 1st line, when the Rangers had a problem with secondary scoring last year.

Straka-Nylander-Jagr worked great last year. I see no reason to not go with it again unless it's obvious the line just isn't working out.

I also see no reason for Hall to be on the 2nd line. I'd rather have Prucha playing out of position than Hall on the second line. right now I don't think Hall is a 2nd liner and I think Prucha is a much better 2nd liner. Until Halls proves differently, I cringe whenever I see someone put him there.

he would add some size,

Straka Nylander Jagr
Shanny Cullen Hall
Prucha Immonen Ward
Hollweg Betts Orts/Orr

I dont recall how many times Prucha played RW last year but he was better at LW.

I see what your saying, but just think about that 2nd line though with Hall for a minute. Hall who just crashes the net hard and is good at it. Shanahan who is also really good in front of the net. He could beneifit from depositing a bunch of garbage goals created by Hall reakin havoc. And the you have Cullen as the fast pivot who can benefit from traffic in front with that nasty shot of his. I think that line would be fantastic.

I'm thinking...

Straka-Nylander-Jagr (Straka's not very useful in terms of scoring without Jagr). But, I think in the third period of close games, Shanahan jumps up with Jagr within 5 minutes of the end of the game and the two are double-shifted.

Agreed. I don't see how the Rangers play Straka anywhere else. Let Prucha play with Cullen and Shanny on the 2nd line.

i totally agree, prucha and immonen should click as well, immonen has good playmaking skills and sees the ice well.

Tyutin...

they're ex-Rangers. I Deblois played a few seasons and Guevremont was here for a shorter time, I believe late 1970s, early 1980s.

Your right Fletch, Deblois played from 1977-79, Jocelyn Guevremont played 20 games for the Rangers in the 79-80 season. Nylander and Straka will be on Jagr's line.

That would be ideal! Let the 4th line be the energy lifting line and the other 3 do the primary scoring
