Toews and Kane are playing pretty spectacular. Hope Hoss is not out for an extended period of time; our wing depth will be tested if he is.

Please tell me what Bollig is doing outside of letting every team beat on the Hawks at will.

Easily one of our best games of the year. Puck possession was there, passing was there, finishing, great work along the boards, and great sticks from our guys all night. Guys who I thought haven't played well at all this year (Bolland and Keith) easily played one of their strongest games (both guys were very hard on the puck).

Other than Oduya, Bickell, and Seabs pretty much everybody had a good to great game. Lot of standout performances tonight.

Contributing to an effective cycle from the fourth line?

So....how about that prediction going into 3rd by Hejduk....

....only took em 15 minutes to put a shot on Emery.

Aves pissed um off with that loss before. Loved it. They played great. Revenge was sweet.

CSN just showed Hossa hit. Looked to be favoring left arm.

"We feel pretty optimistic".

If that's optimistic, I don't want to see the Avs when they're down on themselves.

Did not look good. Especially considering the history.

Showing off a decent amount of speed and not looking out of place at all on a 4th line that seems to be spending 60% of its ice time in the other team's end?

You mean something Morin can do except snipe the eyeballs more than Bollig. Probably hit more than Bollig too.

Factoid is Bollig doesnt want to or cant protect his teammates.

Little early to get too worried. Hawks have 19 games left. Just have to hope to get healthy and in-sync before playoffs at this point.

Semyon Varlamov had a good night and gave up 5 goals. That's how good the Hawks were.

He made some big saves, sure, but .844 is never a 'good night'.

Hawks really are on a different level from the rest of the NHL at even strength. It's not even that close, IMO. They definitely have weaknesses on the PP/PK, but they are competitive in every game 5-on-5 and usually dominant.

With that abortion of a defense the Avs have it almost is. Man are they brutal in their own end. Hawks easily could have put up 8 again like they did on the Stars.

Teams like the Avs and Oilers have had even more higher picks than us yet look at them and look at us. both teams are going nowhere and don't even look like they're close to turning the corner.
