Biggest Name to Move on Deadline Day?

The teams are so close, I can't even think of a guy.

Are we looking at a deadline day with 10 minor trades? The biggest name moving maybe being Filip Kuba?

I disagree, Jbo won't be going anywhere but I think both Gio and Iggy are moving this year. Gio doesn't fit on this team anymore and Iggy is getting a shot at the cup.

It won't be Iginla. Feaster makes his moves early. If Iginla is a Flame 2 weeks from now than he is likely staying till at least the summer.

My gut says this is finally the year Iginla gets moved. I think either to LA or Pittsburgh but Boston is also a possibility. Just depends who's willing to pay the most.

at this point with Perry re-signing, i feel Iginla is the biggest name moved on the TD. i wonder what kind of offers the Pens could make for Iginla and/or Giordano...

(i'm talking about real offers, not the ones that have been proposed in every one of the 29774732 Iginla threads)

I just don't buy the Iginla rumors. I think there's definite interest out there and probably has been for years even when he wasn't "available" but I'd still be surprised to see him go. I think the captain goes down with his ship. Iginla's not a guy I see wanting to leave no matter how bad it is. I'll believe it when I see it.

I suspect we'll see a flurry of trades especially from the bottom-feeders, as usual. The only real sellers I see at the moment are Florida, Buffalo, Washington, Calgary, and Colorado. It's just too close. Of course that can and will change by Deadline Day.

Like I said with Iginla, I'll believe it when I see it. Miller, maybe, considering how bad things have gotten but still I doubt it. I don't want to shop those guys but I wouldn't be opposed to moving them for the right return if it allows us to acquire a good player. Hecht and Scott could also be choices to get something for but neither of them hold really any value. Hecht could fetch a sixth or seventh, even FC, but we won't find it worth it and will just let him retire here out of respect unless he really wants to go to a contender.

With the whole Kaleta situation, maybe they ship him out, although I won't like it. Things aren't good between him and the coaches and teammates right now so I could see it happening. Only safe players really are Hodgson, Ott, Vanek, Pominville, Foligno, Ehrhoff, and Myers. Everyone else has a chance at being moved IMO although Miller is a slim one.
