It'll be cool to see where Selleck is at.

Not sure of the big double standard going on here. Gudbranson getting tons of **** but markstrom getting off the hook free and clear? From what i saw many of the goals he gave up this year are of the savable variety.

We need to acquire a quality goalie who at the very least can split the games 50/50 next year with markstrom.

Markstrom. Will be fine. HE SHOULD PLAY EVERY GAME NOT B2B moving forward in wahat basically remains an exhibition season.
That said I would like him to play 50 games or so next yr so with theo physically done and clemmer, well, just done, so i agree we do need another goalie next yr to compliment/mentor. Theo healthy would have been perfect but that ship again has sailed.

Not worried about gudbranson at all. His edge is missing but this has been a bizzare season on a crap team with a recovering injury so I'm reserving judgement.

I'm still looking for someone from the E to come up. Maybe that'll make some changes to medical staff.

Pretty sure it was Erick's idea to go after Bishop, an I agree with him. On a number of levels, yes one of those being we'd have to have the largest goalie tandem in history. Skill-wise, really like it.

And of course, I agree on Guds.

Howden is in for sure, heard from the family as well. I would like to watch a live stream of the game to see Quinton play live, do you guys have any suggestions? If not, is it best to watch the live feed from the Panthers site and if so can you pause a live game as Id like to flip back and forth from FLA and WPG games? Thanks in advance and good luck to the Panthers tonight.

We must lead the league in players making their NHL debut this season.

Yeah I liked the idea of Bishop too. Hopefully that will be possible. We'd have to trade for him so not sure what the Sens would want in return for him. With the plethora of options in the goalie market, there will be someone we can get for a reasonable price that will work well with Markstrom so I'm not too worried.

Agree with all.

That said, i will be one furious fan if they go on the cheap with Clemmer one more year.

Late post:

I made it to the game against the Isles. Sat in sec 119 2nd row. (I brought a couple people who had never been to an NHL game before, they loved it) Our view was right on the blue line. I wanted to add that Brennan really stood out the whole game. He was very aware of the play and watched him break up a couple of breakouts simply because he positioned himself perfectly to intercept the pass.

Shouldn't judge a player on just one game but if he keeps playing like this he's going to be an excellent addition.

On the negative side Jovo was caught out of position several times. Could see it coming a mile away. I also hated how Kopecky would get so deep in our own end. He left his D-man open several times and they were able to get some point shots that shouldn't have happened.

Anyways, GO PANTHERS!!!

I meant need a goaltender to compliment him. We shouldn't give up on him, but we should bring in some competition. A guy who's a very capable backup/capable of starting if Markstrom doesn't pan out next year, which is also a possibility.
Clemmensen, this year, has proven that he's clearly not that guy.

My guess would be either Santorelli or Kopecky will play center.
