Once again, amazing GDT YWGinYYZ! I have a good feeling about this one. The Jets are going to be hungry, and they need to reclaim 3rd in the east! GO JETS!

I would love it if the Jets could pull off a victory tonight. I'm going to the game on Friday - the second of back to back games against the Caps. It'll be the first Jets 2.0 game I've attended and I want there to be a ton of positive energy in the crowd. A win tonight would help to achieve that even if the Jets were to lose the first game against the Caps on Thursday...

GO JETS GO!!!!

Don't even have to mention how big tonights game is. We're beginning a 4 game home stand (and 5 of our next 7), time to get to work here. Boston generally brings out the best in our Jets, so we should be at our best tonight.

I feel we'll give one heck of an effort but perhaps come up a bit short. But I still fully believe this team can beat the Bruins tonight. If we get 'A' games from our boys, we'll stand as good a chance as any. Will I bet all of my vcash on the Jets? Yes, I will.

Let's GO JETS!!!

Someone explain to me why were behind Toronto in the standings? Same record and we won the season series? How does the NHL determine tie breakers

ROW - regulation or overtime wins (IE: not SO wins). Toronto haz 'em. 1 more than Winnipeg at the moment, I believe.

EDIT: check out the ROW column in the NHL standings:

EasternDIVGP W L OT P ROW GF GA Diff Home Away S/O L10 Streak

The Jets have had good luck beating Rask in the past.

Jets 3-2 win.

Hopefully the Jets can roll 4 lines to avoid fatigue. In the Ottawa game our 4th line combined for 12 minutes of ice time while Ottawa's combined for almost 28 minutes.

Trying to play with mostly 3 lines night in and night out will eventually take it's toll.

Any word if Burmi will be back tonight ?

I'm guessing he won't be slotted in.

I'm also assuming that if we go shootout we'll pick tangradi, hainsey and mittens.

Burmi game time?

We all know Burmi usually brings fresh baked cookies to feed Chara and an unusually large rodent.

Here is an example of said cookies...

Unfortunately for the bruins, fresh baked cookies might be lost in translation.

Let's make the Bruins into crybaby bears tonight, please.

I actually have an awful feeling about this game, and that there well be much internet raging afterwards. And sad drinking, not happy drinking.

Oh please, no sad drinking - nobody likes a melancholy drunk.

Now, raging angry drunk, that would be understandable!

I love how Boston has built their team and if we were to model any organization for me it would be Boston not be Nashville. That being said they are the enemy tonight...........I will be in attendance and sporting my winless Jets Jersey. Boston never stinks and this is not going to be easy............I so want to watch an epic win tonight because I have been leaving the MTS centre tail between the legs for all but 1 game this season.

Common boys do it for my Jersey............break the slump!!

I dont care either way if Burmistrov isnt in the lineup.

That being said, I will be pretty shocked if he isnt.
Then to me at least, that means there is allot more to this situation then we realize.

The Jets have far exceeded my own expectations this season. Win or lose tonight I will again enjoy the game as long as the team collectively busts their *****. In fact, if they play well as a group, I'm talkin' teamwork now, then they can pretty much beat anyone.

Headman the puck with consistency and then pound it deep, pressure their D. No stupid or soft giveaways either, please. Keep it simple.

That is all I ask.

Go Jets Go!!!

Last time we played the B's...we didn't have Bogo. I fully expect a great win today, it's going to be a great game,

I really hope someone rag dolls that PoS, Marchand.

Nice GDT as always!!

Good to see Burmi is in. It will be very interesting to see how he will perform in today's tough match-up against the big bad Bruins. Get some good ol physical Burmi action would be nice.

Off topic but Enstrom was in pre game skate with a normal practice jersey apparently, via Jim Toth
