Can Fleischmann be counted on staying healthy? I have always liked him as a finesse player. And what about a deal for KopeckY?

They also need to look at their strong D-pipeline and say OEL is their nr.1 guy and they have capable complimentary players such as Michalek and Morris, which means that they should trust their prospects to fill the other spots going forward.... and trade Yandle for a good return.

Unfortunately Philly is the perfect trade partner (really don't want them to get Yandle). Brayden Schenn ++
With Philly trading for Luke...I would think the Schenn's are not going anywhere unless it was in a package deal. Like both Schenn's for Yandle + Runblad kind of deal

So agree with this. They need to find an identity and a franchise offensive player would be great. A guy like Drouin or Barkov could be the answer

One of Mikhail Grabovski/Nikolai Kulemin/Clarke MacArthur/Tyler Bozak
Matt Frattin
Carl Gunnarsson

for

Keith Yandle

If not, Chris Brown, Jordan Szwarz, Kyle Chipchura are guy that I'd like to have from Phoenix in a deal.

None of the TO players you mentioned have enough upside to land Yandle.

Kadri+ may get GMDM talking.

Oilers need defense. Gagner, Hall, Eberle, Yakupov, RNH, and J.Schultz all off the table.

You can have David Jones, I think Tippet could do wonders for him.

he had 24 goals last year playing mostly 3rd line minutes and has 7 this year while being hurt for 6 games and currently still playing injured.

i don't think Read's goalscoring ability is anything to scoff att. Rundblad seems to not be able to crack a deep Phoenix defense at this point and the flyers have a need for young defensemen.

could help out both teams. i ilke read and i think he has a lot more to offer than what he's currently worth. a team in need of scoring like the yotes can afford to give him more ice time and see him perform. Also, for a team built around team defense such as phoenix, read would fit right in as he's a tremendous 2-way player.

If you have been shut out three straight games why would the three offensive players be off the table? If they aren't producing then you need to consider moving them.

Shocking that a new poster comes in and starts talking trash.

Hemsky would be second for Phoenix in scoring. 1 point back from Boedker and one goal back from Doan in 2 less games played.

Personally, I don't believe Edmonton would make this trade as they are trying to make a playoff push(2 points back)

Still dreaming I see, the question is do you go for the playoffs, knowing there is a good chance your not going to make it. Or trade for the pieces the team needs to be a playoff team. Right now the Oilers are not a playoff team, still too many big ifs with the Oilers.
