I thought this episode was absolutely hilarious. I laughed throughout the entire episode. Doesn't surprise me you the early majority didn't like it.

I'm genuinly shocked to see the positive response from all of you, I thought it was one of the worst episodes of the season

Probably my favorite episode all season, to be honest. A lot of the other episodes I laughed a good bit during the first OR second half. This one had me rolling all episode.

Barney and I share the last name, I think I should have some Stinson Co. gadgets in the house for similar occasions...

Got tired of it a while ago, it has gone into to many overtimes. Rarely watch it now, the writing is not creative at all and its like the cast is only there because of contracts and would rather be doing other projects. Just my views as I don't out of my way to watch it anymore.

Same. I'll stream one every so often if I'm bored or something, but it's pretty lackluster these days.

I thought the episode was pretty funny, and an overall good episode within this season.

This show is starting to get really ridiculous, though. None of the characters really felt like real people this episode. And I read that next episode will involve time travel again.

This is bang on. I still am watching for those moments of overall story plot, but I usually grab laptop or ipad and find myself doing something else while this show is on.

Of course there's criticism for a great episode. This is HFboards. Great episode IMO. First Robin-Barney centralized episode that I actually found funny.

It was like they went overboard with the absurd. But it worked...I thoroughly enjoyed it. By having so many absurd things happen at once it didn't feel like any one was getting stale...your attention was immediately drawn to this other absurd thing.

Any other episode, the "Ahoy" gag would have gotten really stale, but because there were so many other things to focus on, it got the quick laugh and then on to the next thing.

I thought the mushroom cloud was hilarious.
