Correct. Also, Kulda was on the ice.

If they both play, we won for sure.

I like where this is going

Anyways, I can't help but feel that this is a big game for us, since we want to kick off our homestand with a W and 'cause we need the points with so many teams having a game in hand over us. The Bruins always show up ready to play and they're going to be just as rested as we are too, so I don't think bringing anything less than our A game will do.

I think it's past time to get Burmi back in the lineup too, no sense dressing Cormier or even Thor over him at this point, especially with Slater out - if Burmi and Noel still haven't managed to work it out there might be bigger issues there. Even without him though, as long as we see the kind of effort we saw last week I'll be happy. I'm still trying to get over that nightmare Florida game and the way the Jets have been busting their ***es lately is helping quite a bit

Of course he is. They need him to knock Chara on his ass again.

In case anyone wanted a source:

@saraorlesky: Burmistrov is back in the lineup tonight.

I can't believe Chara doesn't beat the tar out of Burmi when he upends him, but man it's hilarious when Burmi takes out big Z.

Really looking forward to this one. As much as I hate the Bruins, they play a high intensity game that the Jets always match. I'm also really looking forward to the return of Burmi. Hopefully the time off has gotten him to refocus. Maybe we'll see him dump the puck in for the first time in his career, chase it down and knock Chara on his ass a few times.

I think if they play 100% and play physical and play smart....they'll win.

Gah. I don't hate the Bruins but there are a couple of vocal annoying Bruins fans in my office. They always wear their ugly jerseys on game day. I would like to light them both on fire.

Pretty sure Enstrom is still a few days minimum away from actually playing.

Burmi scores tonight and I think it's time for Kane to find the net again.

Jets nation keep your heads up regardless of the out come.
A sweep of the Caps will cure all.
A big win tonight would be amazing.

Most people thought the home win over the Bruins last year was the biggest of the year. A mirror result of that today would be massive!

Every time I look at this I can't help but laugh my ass off. Chipman is so intense. Thomson hugging Chipman from behind is priceless. And Chevy being left hung out to dry on a high-five.

oh man.

It will be interesting to see how much ice time Burmi gets. You know Thorburn and Tangradi (unless he plays like he did in his very first game) will get limited minutes.

Actually, Bruins beat writers reporting that rookie Ryan Spooner is centering the Lucic line at practice today.

Spooner is Boston's top forward prospect and has 45 points in 50 AHL games this year. (12g - 33a)

Game got a lot more interesting for us in Boston if this does end up being the case a lot of people are high on the kid.

GL tonight guys, I love watching Buff truck around out there and glad you treated Wheeler well.
