Not sure how many hits Ovie will get on Malkin with him being out tonight.

GTD

I had first read that he would be out but it appears he might make the line-up after all.

Brooks is back tonight. Orlov making his season debut as well. If Green and the rest can get healthy maybe the Caps go on a run.

I don't want Geno back!

I want the eye on the prize.

I am personally placing a hundred-dollar bounty on the head of Tim McCracken. He's the head coach and chief punk on that Syracuse team.

Go Pen.....
Nah I can't root for the team missing an "i" in its name even if in tank mode.

Caps gonna get spanked. Can't stand watching Pitt beat us, but it's good for the tank, so I'll try not to get too pissed off.

Sorry, can't root for the Pens against the Caps....it's blasphemy, it's evil, it's just wrong!

Does anyone know if PP1 is still:

Brouwer-Backstrom-Ribeiro
Ovie-Carlson

For some reason Johansson was in Ribeiro's place for second half of last game. It doesn't really make sense - especially after Rib's gave Brouwer a sweet setup for a goal the PP before then too.

No way in hell I could ever root Pens over Caps. Pretty much no other team, to be honest.

I laich Laich with laich, Riberio. But I wonder if he can pull faceoffs with a tender G.

Why is Laich with Hendricks and beagle? He should definitely be with Ribeiro and Brouwer. Fehr has been **** the last 6 games.

I think Laich will quickly make his way up the lines, probably by the end of the first

2 concussions?? In his lifetime, or this year?

Because he hasn't played all season? You don't throw a guy directly back into top-6 duty after a long injury lay off. Give him bottom line minutes initially, and ramp him up as his conditioning improves and he grows more accustomed to the speed of the game.

Understandable, but he has been skating (although its obviously not the same) and Fehr has looked like he hasn't played in a while since the Florida game...

Yeah. Obviously they can't quite lose every game, so let's hope this is one of the (very few and far between) wins.

I am going to go points: 0.0

Laich is back, that has to be some sort of upgrade. If even from a leadership angle.

Orlov in the lineup, who didn't project him as a regular all year.

Caps can't play any worse on the road, right?

Caps 4-2 with a self goal in a feeble tank effort.

Yeah, i'm thinking more like 5.5 for the O/U line, combined points.

Not just b/c Caps are having bad year, but b/c Crosby & Kunitz are en fuego, no matter who they play.

I could never root for Pens over Caps, nor for any tank at all. I always root for a Caps victory, no matter what the lottery implications or the firing of GMGM implications.

I still want us to SELL at deadline, mind you, but no tank, never tank. March proudly onward to the sweet 9th or 10th seed.
