Game got a lot more interesting for us in Boston if this does end up being the case a lot of people are high on the kid.

GL tonight guys, I love watching Buff truck around out there and glad you treated Wheeler well.
That's good news for me. I love Pevs and don't want to see him score against us

That's really cool, I like watching rookies play. Looks like he's getting a really good shot here. I see he's played one other game, where did he slot in for that one?

I think it was last year during the last game of the season. He skated in a few different spots that game I cant really remember. He was the last person cut from camp last year as well.

Maybe it will force Burmi to really play North / South, no frills, get the puck in deep and try to cycle hockey.

It likely won't do much for his point total, but it might be beneficial to see Burmistrov earn his way back to the 3rd or 2nd line.

Just a possibility.

Nice to see come classy Bruins fans popping in - welcome to all of you.

Can't make my vBookie bet yet. Whaaaaat? If Burmi's in, I'm betting big tonight.

Got my new Jersey all set for tonight - going to wear my Kane home jersey, and give the Wheeler and generic jerseys a rest.

Got my tickets for Thursday - a win tonight will make Thursday's crowd even louder! Love it loud in the Phonebooth.

Go Jets Go!

He has to play sound hockey and prove he is willing to do what is asked of him......If he does that his talent won't keep him on the 4th line very long IMO

He's been a scratch for what, 4 games? What did he do to deserve a position over anyone placed higher up? He needs to earn his place in the lineup and it starts on the 4th line.

SCP, Huff...I thought of both of Those possibilities after I posted lol. I think he would be better suited on the third right now, especially for tonight's game. I don't think the coach has put himself in a very good position to win tonight's game with one of his top defensive forwards on the fourth energy line.

Wouldn't you say he's been punished enough? I get that you want to keep a winning line up together...but I mean come on. Four games? Was that really necessary? Especially in the Ottawa game. He really should have been back for that one.

Pretty tough to get excited about Burmi's potential contribution to the statsheet when looking at his linemates, but I'm not sure there's anywhere else to slot him for his first game back. The other lines have looked to have good chemistry lately. I do think we could see Burmi help out on the pk if we get into trouble, and it's not like Noel has never juggled lines during a game before when things don't look right.

Right now he's likely going to have to work his way back up into a better spot... or wait for someone ahead of him to fail.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Kane or Wheeler take a couple doubles with Burmi's 4th line, either.

Tangradi has some offensive skill, perhaps they can get something rolling. It will be interesting to see which zone Noel starts them in.

Preferably on the right wing. That is the most logical spot. Tanger isn't a null offensively and he has been getting more ice than Cormier and Thor.

Alright! I got tickets and have a perfect 3-0 record at MTS, gotta drop some vcash on this because it's obviously going to be a win.

[edit] when they get around to putting today's games up...

I agree he has been punished enough and that's why he sat those 4 games. What I'm getting at is he's just come into the lineup and needs to earn his role back. Don't be surprised to see him moved around during the game depending on what he's doing with the puck.

Who else would centre the fourth line, Wright? If Slater was healthy Burmi would be up on the third line, but I think it's moreso they need a reliable centre than him earning his keep. That line may finally play more and he will PK with Kane as well. Burmi finds Thor wide open back door and Thor pots one tonight, book it!

Yeah, lets drop Little to the fourth line instead, Burmi is such a proven playmaker he deserves to be there!

Coach Noel pre-game presser

Coach Noel - What would he like to see from Burmistrov. Kane, Wheeler and Ladd didnít take part in practice Ė Maintenance? How closely is he watching the standings? Any time frame for Enstrom? Any confusion over the penalties? What does he need to see from Kulda to get into lineup? Looking at this week for the Jets in the standings. Managing lineup during a shortened season. Impact of Ron Hainsey. Would he make case to Chevy for keeping Hainsey. Using Boston as a measuring stick? Getting the 4th line more minutes. Determining shootout shooters.

He's still in the lineup in his normal spot on the 3rd line.
