They better just play a WHOLE HELL OF A LOT BETTER than they did when I attended the game Saturday in Tampa. What a waste of $70 that was. Literally there were a half dozen times in that game when they looked like my mens league team AFTER being at the bar.
Every team is playing the same amount of games as the Canes are. "Being tired" isn't an excuse.
We played yesterday. They played on Saturday. Who is more rested?
It's not so much an excuse as a fact: we're probably more sore, more gassed than they are.
Also, I'm going out on a limb and saying a 5-1 win. Come at me.

The string of posts BLB was responding to wasn't in reference to tonight's upcoming game, it was in reference to their overall lackluster in a number of games in recent weeks. And he's right. Every team has a more compressed schedule in this shortened season so it's not an excuse for the recent string of games where they didn't have it. Over the last 8 games, they've had either 2 or 3 days between games in each case.
Given the game last night and flight delays, etc.....for tonight's game if they fade as the game progresses, then I could see how them being gassed applies
Matthias is sick and probably not playing. We called up Quinton Howden, another prospect, from the AHL for tonight. Parros is hurt too. Eric Selleck, yet another prospect, will play for him. JoVo is out for the year. Kulikov is probably back tonight.
We have 13 players who started the year in the AHL on the current roster. That pretty much sums up our year.

How many looking for their first NHL goal? Guranteed to get it tonight...

In case anyone wanted to know, Rheault is back in the AHL, Jovanovski is out in definitely, and Quinton Howden has been recalled from our AHL team. Matthias might not play due to an illness apparently.
