I doubt that. Jake Gardiner is plenty useful even when we are losing.

I think Holzer will be back as soon as we can move Liles.

or would they put Gardiner up with Phaneuf?
Carl - Phaneuf
Gardiner - Franson

How would that be fair to him or good coaching for that matter? They need to ease him in and get him acclimated to playing against better competition again. We all know your going to be at home tomorrow hoping Gardiner cough's up the game winner but the rest of us want him to succeed.

Idk, Holzers had his chance I'd like to see some other Marlies D-men have a turn.

My guess is RC doesn't touch the Fraser Franson pair and matches Gardiner with Phaneuf. Which leaves a Gunnar Liles pairing. IMHO.

probably. Liles needs to go. No sense in having both him and Gardiner on the roster

Will he still be "plenty useful" if he's the reason we lose?

Maple Leafs recall Jake Gardiner
James Mirtle

The Leafs have a few option for where to play him. A left defenceman, he spent a lot of time in the AHL alongside Mike Kostka during the lockout and could reprise that role should Kostka draw back into the lineup.

Gardiner has also played with Cody Franson quite a bit, and the two had success last year as a solid offence-first pairing.

That's what I was thinking too. Fraser and Franson have been playing really well together, and I don't think you can put Liles and Gardiner together because they are too soft.

A fail by Gardiner seems to be at the core of Interactif's very being.

Don't see the use for two puckmovers like Gards and Liles in a Carlyle line up .. IMO Liles will be dealt soon

Really? Because it seems like we get hemmed in a lot due to D-men's inability to get the puck out of own zone and them handling it like it's a live grenade.

That looks reminesent to the 11-12 29th place GA defence, Gunnar, Liles and Gardiner are all on the small side. This will be interesting, from a big defence to a mobile smaller one. A decided shift in philosphies, more goals for and against should be expected.

Sure, we can ship out Liles and call Holzer back up.

For goodness sakes.

woooooo
gardiner up, kostka sitting, liles in, holzer demoted, perry resigns, lupul back...

now what do we discuss?
hfboards will probably get pretty boring for about 26 hours.
probably think of a new custom title... any suggestions?

A fail by Gardiner, a success by Rielly. Only question is, why can't they both succeed?

So you expect more than the 3+ we already allow?
