I don't get much to see the guys overseas. Seems like we are feeling like Lindberg is going to be a solid 3rd liner?

Lindberg is a better faceoff guy than Nemchinov, though Nemchinov had tremendously strong legs, allowing him to stay up no matter what opposing players did to him.

What's going on, Ola?

The only injury mentioned in the live reporting of the game at http://www.hockeyligan.se/elitserien-arena/38445/ is of the goaltender, Engstrand, who apparently only needed stitches.

Details, please!

Asked on the Swedish boards. Response:

Quote:
Sorry, my Swedish isn't good enough to understand their conversation, but he did take some kind of hit or awkward fall, and reading body/face language, the coach seemed pretty negative about it when the commentators asked him about Fasth.

Forget about Fasth. Way too injury-prone to make it in the NHL :/

Damn. Not good news for the kid if it's bad.

Fingers crossed until we get a real report.

I think it says here that he was hurt in the second period and didn't come back to the game (am I right?). No details.

I think he cut the sentence short.

Maybe "the kid is on his last legs" or "the kid is on life support".

Don't be a negative nancy.

Ola meant that "the kid is on his way to joining the Rangers soon and scoring several goals per game".
