No one right now. But...

1) Winnipeg - Seems like a good natural rival. Both teams looking for rivals. Nice cross-border thing going on.

2) Chicago - History + 2 teams that are going to be competive over the next few years is beneficial. Add in Chicago losing Detroit.

3) Colorado - That team has always been a bit of an odd-duck, but the two have had playoff bad-blood and the old division thing.

Me too. Hate all three.

We will eventually be rivals with Chicago, Winnipeg and St. Louis. Winnipeg sucks for me since I love the Jets. I just can't wait until we get out of this stupid division we are in right now (so much traveling, it's ridic) so realignment couldn't come soon enough. It will be so much fun hating on Chicago again. Love the city, respect the team, but so fun to go head to head with them in hockey, football, baseball. I can't wait.

Edmonton. We trade with them but man, they are overrated. Their prospects are overrated.

Yes. Don't really care for all the other teams, but these 3 get my blood boiling.

In the future, I can definitely see St.Louis and Winnipeg.

The Chicago rivalry is laying dormant for the moment because of being stuck in the NW division but i believe it will roar back to life in short order next year, there may be a new generation of Wild fans who don't understand what it was like back in the day but there are enough of us who have been around for awhile that will never be able to look at the Blackhawks with anything but disdain.

Winnipeg is going to be a blast as well.

Winnipeg and St. Louis have been contentious games (when we've played) the last few years so my money is on them, though Chicago will be up there and judging by the last couple with the Avs that could be good as well.

Oil suck too, but that's just because they're a really irritating team full of entitled babies.
No you are not. I hate anything from Anaheim these days. including Anaheim itself.

I've come to view the Ducks as an abomination unto the NHL itself.

The other two teams that just get me so damned angry are Vancouver and Dallas.

I just cant make myself hate Edmonton, considering how close they got Roli to the Cup. I really really wanted to see him win one.

Their fans and media can suck it tho.

mixed feelings on the Ducks. you are a horrible monster if you don't have an asterisk for the Teemu exception after your "I hate the ducks" statement.

I guess I'm a horrible monster, but I never cared much for Selanne. He is a legend, and I respect his accomplishments and longevity, but other than that he is just another player to me. Still remember him running his mouth at Boogie in the playoffs. From the bench, naturally.

Cruel? It's 100% right. Riser was a terrible, terrible GM. Picking Koivu was really the only "smart" pick he ever made.

He gets partial credit for winning a coin toss and having Gaborik slip to #3 and hiring Lemaire. After that we're grasping for straws.

I think we can all agree that if we saw some dude wearing a Ducks jersey, some dude wearing a Nucks jersey and Risebrough standing next to them... we'd all take a shot kicking Riser in the stones and probably even invite the Ducks and Nucks fans to join in.

This year, none. Next year I see 3 potential rivalries.

Chicago: Twin cities area and Chicago have a pretty big geographical rivalry, playing each other more often should ignite this. I also see Chicago's great season so far as more of them being the only team playing at full NHL level hockey. With a full off season, I see them coming down to earth again.

Winnipeg: I see more of a friendly rival until we meet in the playoffs a couple times. At which point its on.

Dallas: Not as much for players, but I see this as a big fan rivalry. Or maybe its just me that still hates the Stars unconditionally and seeing them more a year is just going to add fuel to the fire.

From what I follow the GDT's, playing against Anaheim and Edmonton seems to always get the fan base here on HF at least riled up.

Sounds like most Chicago fans are glad we're joining their division since they lost Detroit. They're looking at us as a good consolation rivalry prize.

Consolation prize? Sounds about right when describing a Minnesota team.

Canucks for obvious reasons (ohlund incident, burrows) . The second has to be the Blues, Koivu hates the Blues. Every game is always intense (stoner rearranges Backes' face, Oshie being a little *****). Jets will surely develop with the realignment (Ladd is a *****).

Edit: Anaheim as well

I always hated Calgary, but I think that's pretty much worn off, especially with the new divisions. I think my new hatred will be for Chicago, as I have a soft spot for Winnipeg/Atlanta, and I like a lot of players on the Blues.

I used to hate Calgary as well, but now I just feel bad for them...

We will have a whole new crop, a better crop of teams to hate!

Chicago will beone of the first, oh yes... All we need is Stoner to help Kane on his ass a few times, or Clutterbuck to smear that little **** into the boards... Then life will be good...
