Ordinarily that's what I do. But since they're already holding almost half a season's worth of my money. I'm passing on the playoff donation.

No they don't. But in the past I would use this as a way to breakup my payments.

They don't give you guys any interest on that money, right?

I bet that was a nice little money-maker when rates weren't garbage.

Right. So then speaking in the strictest financial sense, OP, you're better off hanging on to your money and putting it into some sort of short-term investment vehicle where you can make a couple of cents off of interest rather than give the Sabres a 0% loan.

I will wait till tonight to decide. If they win tonight then they have a chance of winning the rest of the games. If Chicago can do it to start the seasin, Buffalo can do it to finish.

Already? I figured they were going to wait at least till the end of the month to send the first round/second round playoff invoice out. Probably an NHL rule that teams have to send it to season ticket holders over an month before the start of the playoffs.

Of course no additional payment by me as its already paid for due to the unplayed regular season games. I assume this case for all season ticket holders in all price levels, no need to send any money in. (I have a credit of $910.00 - payment for three first round games and three second round games - $354.00)

And the deadline is April 22 to let them know if ya want to apply the credit/get your tickets and by then we will know if the Sabres have a shot at the playoffs. (Heck, we should know by the end of this month.) So no need to do anything right now.

I got my today as well. Made me laugh.

You guys didn't get your money back for the cancelled games? We called and it was refunded to my credit card in 2 days. They run things so poorly over there that I wouldn't want them holding onto thousands of dollars of my money for months. I'm afraid that it would disappear.

I always keep any extra money with them and roll it over. Been doing that for years and have never had a problem. This year they offered 4% interest if you didn't take out your money. Better than bank rates.
