might think everyboty is moviestar there. i took some time watching ads at craigs of rooms at peoples homes. can come really cheap but would need own entrance , own kitchen, own livingroom own wide screen for ducks games etc. also kind of little dirty w putting clothes allower an very often need to let out smelling farths so ...an also other things so dont think of the oppornity to pick up at the rent room method.

if anyboty know of room w plenty of privacy etc? thanks

I just found out i can't make the game on Sunday vs the Blues. So i have 2 tickets in 407 Row A (on the railing) that i will sell for my cost ($35 each). If your interested send me a PM and we can work out the details.

Was planning on getting some tickets for tomorrow's game against the Blackhawks from StubHub, but just saw that they went up a bit. Would I be better off buying from scalpers?

Hmm possibly, I always seem to run into a few around HC but it's been a couple years since I did buy from scalpers. I think there's a cheap place to buy tickets around there that I see people posting about but not sure of the name.

The two best teams in the league in a possibly playoff preview. Prices are going to be up anywhere you look. Craigslist will probably have better deals but any given deal can be its own challenge. How bad do you want to go and how much/little do you want to pay? 714 tickets has nosebleeds for $55. http://www.714tickets.com/Tickets/Ch...20-2013/423863

Thanks for the advice. Not overly concerned with price, just figured I'd see if anyone has any experience with buying tickets at the Honda Center before I pay double face value.

Just know that it is illegal to buy or sell on the arena property anywhere at any price, and they do have a lot of security. Most deals take place across the street.

Scorebig.com I've had pretty good success getting cheap tickets there ever since 714 has raised their prices.

(Unfortunately they don't have anymore tickets to the hawks/ducks game)

FWIW, 714 tends to adjust their prices up and down for each game based on what I have seen. But I am usually looking for weekday games so YYMV.

What kind of BS is this "make offer" crap? I'm supposed to give them my credit card before they tell me where the seats are or what they want for them? **** that.

The owner of 714 tickets usually goes out and undercuts the scalpers and walks you over to his office. Maybe wait til after the game starts to get a better deal. The tickets are worthless unless they are sold.

Tis true. It does have a flaw of not knowing where your seat is but when you can possibly get a $9 ticket I really don't care where I'm going to sit. Especially when the pond has sections of empty rows and I can just move to.

714 raised their prices. I remember getting $5-$10 tickets for games against columbus and phx (for example). Even when the ducks were winning games. I think the lockout hurt them a bit financially so they are trying to make up for it. Obviously it's just me speculating.

You can still get $10 tickets at 714 for some games. $15 for most of the rest.

For $9, you're right, I wouldn't care too much where they are. But if I'm buying lower bowl seats some of those are pure crap and I don't want them at any price.

They usually have morning skate at around 10-10:30... if you wait outside the Honda Center at around 11:30-12, you should be able to catch them leaving.

Also, if you want, you can bring some Ducks stuff, and get it signed by most of the team. I have a jersey signed by Getzlaf, Perry, Selanne, Beauchemin, etc.

Hey guys, I am going to be in CA and going to my first Ducks game in years this week (4/3 and hopefully 4/5). Can I buy 400 level tickets and still go down to the ice to watch warmups? I remember doing this when I was younger but last time I was at a game I thought I remembered hearing folks gripe about being denied access. My apologies if this is a dumb question.

Thanks a lot!

Yes, they let anybody into the lower level for warm ups. Have fun!

So I've booked my trip to Anaheim now, gonna catch the games against the Kings, Oilers and Avalanche! I just thought I'd ask a few questions here before I leave though, since I've never been to California before.

I'm gonna fly to LAX on saturday and arrive somewhat late in the evening. I'm under 25 so renting a car would be quite expensive I've heard. I'm gonna stay in a hotel a couple minutes away from Honda Center. I was thinking that I'd take the LAX FlyAway to Union Station and then Metrolink or Amtrak to Anaheim station. Is it a safe area to be walking around at night on my own from Anaheim station towards the Honda Center and is it easy to find my way there? I don't really feel like spending what I'd assume to be a lot of money on a taxi from LAX to Anaheim, but taking a taxi from Anaheim station to the hotel would probably work. Are there usually taxis waiting at the train station when trains arrive or should I just walk?

Since my billing address is in Finland, my only option for ticket delivery when buying from Ticketmaster was something called International Will Call, how does this work? Do I just walk to the Ponda on gameday before the game and get my tickets there or?

Finally, since I'm staying until Thursday, and there's no game on Tuesday, I noticed the Angels are gonna play their home opener that day, so I might go check it out. Is baseball fun if you've never seen a game before/have no clue about the rules though? And does the home opener usually sell out, i.e. can I still decide on Tuesday whether I want to go or not, or am I unlikely to be able to get a ticket anymore at that point?

Oh, and a bonus question: Anyone happen to know what would be the easiest beach to get to by public transportation from the area surrounding Honda Center. I heard you can take a train from Anaheim station straight to San Clemente fairly easily, but what about e.g Huntington Beach?
