Cheer up. I recently read where our prospect system is ranked 26th in the league.

Wouldn't be a big deal if he called out Fisher, Erat, Legwand, SK, and the rest of 'em.

Smith may not deserve more time, but neither do any of the rest of them.

We lost to Calgary, Edmonton, and Columbus all in a row and are now 13th but only because Calgary and Colorado have played less games. Let the tank begin.

tough loss, but on the bright side, and most importantly, Trotz kept the team accountable and scratched Sergei Kostinsen for Taylor Beck

If the team should tank because of an ever slimmer chance of making the playoffs, why go on living at all since death is inevitable?

When things get tough .... quit. If the team was as weak as our fan base, I'd find another team.

Tough to be a season ticket holder and watch all these meaningless home games with this team.

great point sir.

where did you read our prospects rank #26? very depressing considering how bad the current roster sucks.. time for major changes. we had a good run.

I gave up on Legwand 4 years ago and was never a big supporter of SK comin in he was a problem child before he came here and has not worked out. I posted earlier today that they should just waive him. Erat is a disapointment this year but in the past has been valuabel to the team. And Fish is over paid.

I have said it before and continue to believe Wilson to be the lone forward hat is top 6 material, while Borque is showing some promise he needs anothe year to jump to that role. Basically there is not potential to have a first line on this team nor in the system at this point.

It is frustrating knowing going into the summer it is highly improbable to move 11, 12, 10 these are third or fourth line players on most other teams. There salary and declining stats dio not make the desireable. As someone stated before if we did not care about this team it would be so much easier.

Our offense was not the problem on this road trip. The ones blaming Legwand and Fisher for the last few games is a joke, they've actually performed. It's just easier to blame them I guess.

fisher has improved a little. legwand has sucked. secondary assists and 1 goal in 5 games doesn't change that. ill give them some slack because of them playing in roles they shouldn't. they are 3rd line centers. guess the real blame goes to poile. then trotz.

While there is truth in that, the underlying problem with the team this year has been offense. Over the past couple weeks there has been a defensive meltdown across the team and including goaltending. There is a confidence problem across the team in all areas. The areas they are capable of playing well such as defense has taken a noticable hit and a case can be made it to be related to the inability to not being able to score earlier in this season.

Defense was a problem, sure. But in no way was our offense acceptable either.

Look at Columbus's 4th goal. Our poor offense turns the puck over and gives them an odd man rush. A sound offense relieves pressure from the defense and in turn makes us better defensively. It goes both ways. We are terrible any way you slice it.

He seems to suck if he lets one in early. Can't come back from it.

The epitome of our offense is Pete and Terry talking with Horacheck. The mind set of the coaching staff have they think that they can outwork the opposition. Which is a dream. In other words we don't have the talent to create our own scoring opportunities. We can't bring the puck across the blue line and make a scoring play. We always have to dump the puck in. We don't have players who can make passes 5 on 5 and we have trouble bringing the puck in on a power play. If you watch Chicago their biggest asset is they are a terrific passing team. Something that we never have. We have Legwand and Erat making passes not only make you scratch your head but wonder what were they thinking. Erat and Legwand on the power play haven't a clue what to do on the sideboards. Legwand is scared to shoot and Erat only shoots after he circles around and if the shot is blocked present a break the other way. How many games this year have we scored the first goal?

Turnovers happen. Seems like this whole fan base is now afraid of turnovers as much as Trotz is.

This team for whatever reason can't piece together a complete game, if the defense is good, Rinne sucks, or we can't score. If we score, we play bad defense. If we play tight defense, we don't score. Or Defense is ok, shots are all from one angle and outside, Rinne makes the timely save but no one scores.

This team probably has as many 5 goal games as last years team, the problem is we've had more 5 goal games against too.

Again, offensively on this 5 game road trip we've scored 16 goals, and only won 1 of those games.

In those 5 games the horrible Legwand has 5 points, and the horrible Fisher has 3 goals and 4 points.

I understand beating up players that are playing bad, but those 2 aren't our problems right now.

Erat on the other hand did not have a point on the road trip. He's getting top line minutes, powerplay time and the team is scoring, he should have atleast been involved some.

Our problem this road trip has mainly been Rinne.
