Didn't watch the third period, knew we would lose by the end of the first period.

Glad we were able to steal a point.

What a game by Eller, Galchenyuk and Gallagher ! They were awesome tonight, especially in the 3rd period. Eller is getting better and better. Our future looks great !

On a negative side, without being bad, those guys didn't contribute at all: Moen, White and Tinordi. Price is bordeline too. I'm not bashing them, I'm just saying a fact.

Tinordi played just over 10min, Therrien managed his bench when trailing. That was smart and helped us gain a point.
Price made key saves to keep us in the game. He made a big one at the end of the 3rd when Pacioretty was in the box. He also made a big one on the PP in OT, but Markov couldn't clear the rebound.

Ok guys, i remember in 24CH Therrien told Subban "don't go for the hit, the hit will come to you" .. looks like Therrien is right but Subban didn't listen.

They should really form one line.

hehe, I remember that. I don't know if you can take that play out of subban though. He loves to stalk guys at the blueline like that. It's just part of the package, and sometimes its not going to end well, other times, he's going to demolish someone, like Marchand and Larsson last year.

That specific play on 24CH was a scrum along the boards... slightly different scenario, but I get your point.

Didn't see him blaming the ref at all. He basically said "it is what it is."

I think you should watch again. He explicitly did not blame the ref.

Are you talking about him running his mouth prior to the penalty?

He dodged multiple baits from the reporters to make him blame the refs and put the blame on himself and his yelling at the refs during the game.

Sorry I was being sacarstic..

That being said, if he thinks it's a penalty, he would've answered "yes" instead of "i'll leave it as that, the call has been made, moving on.. tralala"

If they play like that every night, they are going to win a lot of games.
Sometimes you get the bounces and some luck, other times you don't.
At least they got a single point for their effort.

A little disappointing that guys aren't sticking up for Emelin! ...I am sure its known around the league by now that he has a plate in his face and he really shouldn't be fighting and yet guys are going after him and he is forced to fight. I know he plays a physical game, but by no means are his hits dirty they are clean and hard and he finishes his checks. He is one of the best hitter in the leagues and I know teams are aware of him by now. He gets beat on with no ramifications at all and this will continue until the habs get a sheriff that players will have to answer too. What I'm scared of is that he will may change his play as he has become a target and could get hurt with one of the idiots punching at him.

All I can say is that PK shouldn't have tried it, but everyone makes a dumb play now and then, even vets.

We battled back and stole a point plus the Bs lost
. Just relax we havent had a regulation loss in what? 18 games. Its obviously not as bi g but that kind of streak was good enough for Chicago. Lets relax and enjoy that Boston can only tie us with their game in hand. We also have the chance to make the gap greater this week!

as a ref, i would have noticed that the player supposedly being high sticked didn't even react. players will ALWAYS put their had up to where they were hit, sometimes it's even way embelleshed, but he just kept going after he avoided the brunt of what would have been a devastating hit.

to me it's not matter of 'in the speed of the game, it looked close' when the 'victim' isn't even thinking there would be a call and doesn't react to being high sticked.

3) Price has proven himself capable this year in SOs

Vanek is just a lock to score. Without him, nobody else is a sure bet.

???? If anything he didn't blame the ref at all and gave a very mature answer. He could easily have said more than he did (in fact I wanted him to), but that was a very different PK in that video, taking the blame for chirping the refs. I see how that can be construed as "therefore they were already annoyed with me and called a phantom call on me", but that would be misconstruing it.

Edit: Just saw your message about being sarcastic. Nm. We're on the same page. I'm glad PK did react the way he did though.

Good point.

I'm guessing these refs won't be doing many playoff games. Really amateur stuff.
