Members of the Invasion V visited their first practice of the Colorado Avalanche this year, continued in the shopping of the Avs merchandise and watched the Nuggets game in the evening in Pepsi Center.
DAY 4 – March 10th
We met Joe Sakic before the start of the game and then we were watching it in the suite thanks to the national anthem signer Jake Schroeder. The biggest Invasion V day so far.
Monday was our first day in Denver, which we had spend by almost full day trips. Firstly, we visited Cave of Winds and then took a two-hour ride at the Pike Peak Railway. Great nature, the nicest country in the States!
I'll definitely try to do my best to join the next Eurolanche Invasion
You will be welcome!

DAYS 6-7 – March 12th-13th
We watched the first and very unfortunate Avalanche´s loss in the evening and then were traveling for 14 hours from Denver to Minnesota to watching Thursday´s game of the Avs.
It was the historical first Colorado Avalanche away game in the history of the Eurolanche Fan Club. Sadly, Avs lost. Besides hockey, we visited the Mall of America and city center of St. Paul. We are back in Denver now.
Another Avalanche loss. Overall, the third loss in a row and the second straight loss in Pepsi Center. Later we enjoyed the lacrosse game and mainly St. Patrick´s weekend. No hockey joy.
We visited our second and the last Avalanche practice. Immediately after that we met with Jan Hejda for few minutes and did interview with him. It will be available at our website soon. In the afternoon we had a tour in the Gold Mine of Idaho Springs.
Big day for Eurolanche – we got credentials for gameday practice and the game with Chicago. Meanwhile, we had a tour at the Coors Field, the stadium of MLB´s Colorado Rockies.
Indoor skydiving, meeting with Jake Schroeder, interview at the jumbotron in Pepsi Center, winning game and last meetings with all Avalanche players. See you soon, Denver!
It looks like you all had a blast, in spite of the team generally playing pretty poorly. I'm already looking forward to pics and stories from your next trip.
