Is that true, he played at the Garden? I remember him being hurt both times they came here. Guess I missed something.

NYR didn't have a video tribute or anything?

If I remember correctly Leetch requested that a tribute video not be played.

It was a fun game to watch. Once the game was easily in hand for the Rangers the fans directed their energy towards Leetch. Everytime he touched the puck he got a roar of approval from the stands.

Hey man, no offense meant, it was just the whole "my dad is getting tickets" thing.

Leetch back to the Garden was my favorite game last year, but I'm a sucker for nostalgia. I'm like a chick.

No offense taken...I can see how someone might assume that meant I was still dependent on him.

However, if it gets me free Ranger tickets ill be a good little daddys boy for the rest of my life.

Unfortunately, yes, but only because I was unable to get tickets to the Messier game. I don't really regret it too much anyway though because I felt that ceremony was too drawn out and a little cheesy.

The Richter retirement was much better, in my opinion, and not just because I was able to be there .

Lucky. I went to Gretzky's last game, got to sit front row by the blue line. It was cool, but the Rangers lost in Overtime to Pittsburgh. The game winner scored by a guy by the name of Jaromir Jagr.

Brian didn't want a big deal made of it, there was a short tribute though...

I don't think that it was shown on tv. I remember the game being on OLN or NBC and them not showing anything at all. There was a brief on ice interview, then they cut to commercial and came back to the puck dropping. After the game was over there was no post game in typical NBC/OLN fashion.
