"The kid is on the groin concussion treatment waitlist"

"The kid is only able to make this face: "

I'm terrified. Need an update soon.

Only Rangers fans. For all we know he bruised his sternum or some **** and is day-to-day. Hell, he could have broken his arm and there would still be plenty of room for him to become a successful NHL player. Stop being dramatic.

The only thing Östgöta Correspondenten is reporting is that Fasth had to leave the ice injured and it's a major question for the team.

We have no details on the severity of this injury and his last major injury was a freak accident.

Oh come on, don't post that video again - we all know that story and seeing a big, honking YouTube embed with the title "Jesper Fasth Breaks Foot" made me think it happened again.

Can we just hold out and wait until Ola or one of our other European posters comes back with more detail without fanning the flames of speculation?

Question to my Whale-watchers and general Kreider-heads:

Any chance he can play RW? I've only seen him play LW but I'm just curious.

Only info I'm able to find on Fasth is that it "could have been a knee-injury".

There's no info on Fasth.

The best place for info is at:
http://www.hv71fans.se/forum/viewtop...=258&start=550

The fans who know doesn't post it and the team is quite on it. Someone mentioned a incident involving a D for Linköping (Grillfors).

Look, it wasn't a serious incident (the injury could of course still be long term). He didn't struggle to get of the ice or something. Most likely its like a broken finger, muscle pull or something in the knees or whatever. I am not even sure if Fasth played all that much early in the game (the game was on at home but I could only watch it spordaically), it could be that he has something that is bothering him and then he had to step of after half the game.

We will have to wait and see.

Haha I ment to write "I think the lid [not kid] is on". Does that even make sense in english? Ok, I start again, I think HV71 has decided to be quite about the incident.

Fasth's injury was to the same shoulder that he injured earlier in the year, missing a month. No word on the extent of the injury though. Hopefully not serious.

He has struck up an old injury, says HV 71's assistant coach Heather Thomas Bergh. The forward Jesper Fasth had to end Karjala Tournament in the season with a shoulder injury and missed almost the entire november.

Recently signed @NYRangers prospect Josh Nicholls ended the year with 47 goals. Most impressive part? Only 5 were on the PP while 6 were SHG
Sounds good to me!!

Not sure if anyone's noticed, but Nicholls went 6-6-12 in 6 games since signing with the Rangers.

Clearly he's amped to be part of the organization.

I thought Saskatoon was hosting the Memorial Cup and was guaranteed a playoff spot because of that? Wasn't there talk of that being the reason they traded or McColgan to start the season?

Memorial cup happens outside of the CHL playoffs. So even if they didn't make the playoffs they would still have been in the memorial cup.
