Either way I don't think we should trade Hartnell because our offense already sucks as it is. McGinn I'm not even sure if you could anything for him to where it would be worth it.
I wouldnt trade Hartnell Either. But I just don't see the point of moving McGinn for many obvious reasons (young, cheap contract, doesn't have much value, could develop into something)

Hartnell almost lulled me into the "trade him" wagon once, and then succeeded on his second try. I'm not getting fooled again. He's not ancient yet, he can still bounce back.

He's been pretty awful. Definitely need to try some new options at the 1st line LW. It's not like we're going to lose anything by changing up the lines at this point.

Gagne/Giroux/Voracek
Briere/Schenn/Read
Hartnell/Couts/Simmonds

I think those lines would mesh well together. Giroux/Voracek with the amazing stick work and Gagne sniping away. Read, Briere and Schenn could bring some energy with scoring ability. I see Read as the best player on that line, but I love Read as a player. The guy has hands, shooting touch and is one of the smarter players out there. Then you have the third line and they should just be trying to get the puck to the net and cause chaos around the goalie. That third line isn't the shut down line I like, but with the way this team is playing they have to change things up. I have always had high hopes for Hartnell and seeing him play like this the past couple games is terrible. It is much worse than before when he took bad penalties because now it looks like he is even trying to get penalties and doesn't care. Lavy has got to be gone by next season, but this team should try to build some chemistry next season so hopefully they can put together some wins. Hartnell and the team seems lost with no direction.

Briere should be benched. I'd rather see Knuble out there at this point.

Not Knuble but def McGinn. He has 7 pts in 4 games since his re-assignment to the phantoms

Anyone know why McGinn went and played in the Q after one year in the O?
