I doubt he's done for the season. I'm guessing he'll be back in 3 weeks.

Ryder is playing on his wrong side on the Plek line, he's a RW.

I never thought I would be waiting to get Bourque back in the lineup. What 365 days can do for a player.

#Habs Rene Bourque sur la patinoire. En blanc, comme les autres attaquants. Fin du "sans contact"?

Bourque on the ice, without the "no-contact" jersey. Could be good news.

He's training with a regular "contact" jersey this morning.

I would expect him coming back for Saturday's game.

So...
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Gallagher
Bourque - Plekanec - Ryder
Galchenyuk - Eller - Gionta
Moen - Dumont - Armstrong

?

Having Bourque back will help our lines a tonne, and we've been great even without him

Saturday:
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher
Bourque-Plekanec-Gionta
Galchenyuk-Eller-Ryder
Dumont-White-Armstrong

that 2nd line had some chemistry earlier this year, should be reunited. top line has developed chemistry since being formulated and Galch-Eller are dynamite together, whether it be Prust/Dumont/Ryder/Armstrong on their wing.

Bourque is the 13th forward today, so don't expect him tomorrow.

Saturday would be more likely.

So Bourque was cleared for contact according to MT, but there weren't any contact drills today at practice.

So we still don't know how he'll react to contact. Bourque added he needs practice time, he'll travel with the team to Long Island in part because of that.

J-F Chaumont ‏@JFChaumont 50m
#Habs: Rene Bourque fera le voyage à Long Island, mais il ne jouera pas. "J'ai besoin de temps à l'entraînement"-Bourque.

John Lu ‏@JohnLuTSNMtl 42m
#Habs Bourque thinks his concussion may have been incurred on Orr punch on Feb. 9, although he says he felt fine after that incident. 1/2

John Lu ‏@JohnLuTSNMtl 40m
#Habs Bourque says he was hit hard on Feb. 14 @ Fla, then post concussion hit him hard Feb. 21 vs NYI, described as flu-like symptoms.

Hope Bourque will be back for the 2 big games next week. Starting to miss that guy that crashes the net and Pleks has slowed down a little

Well we have 3 perimeter players on that line, so its to be expected. With Bourque crashing the net, it gives Pleks and Gionta more room to do their thing. With Ryder, you see the D can play man to man since the net area is pretty clear.

I'd like to see everyone back by the next time the Habs play Pittsburgh and Boston. That'd give them a fair chance of winning the division, although the odds are probably against it. Of course, it would help if the Bruins were to incur injuries to more consequential players than McQuaid.

With Prust and Bourque back, our forward line-up looks DEEP. With Prust playing as good as he has been this year and having him potentially play on the fourth line, that's a really good thing. Now Armer's starting to step it up and Dumont is a good banger to have back there.

Patch - DD - Gally
Bourque - Pleks - Gio
Galchy - Lars - Ryder
Armstrong - White/Dumer - Prust

Prust can be interchangable to any of the lines. I'd like to see Bourque play with Larry and Galchenyuk for a game or two because I think they'd dominate, but I think he'll play on Pleky's line.

you mean savard out is not consequential???

hate how some people still include him and list him as a key injury

Bruins and their excuses. There's not much more than that. I remember a few weeks ago when the flavor of the month on the boards was the winning % or some crap they came up with. They used that stat to show their team was ranked higher than ours because of the less games played. How is that working for them now? Stick around and we'll see something else come out of their mouths soon.

McQuaid is a big loss for them IMO. He's one of their physical guys and when you actually think about it they don't have that many fighters outside of him, Chara, Lucic, and thorton. Other than that they have some brave guys who will thrown down but nothing we can't handle.

Prust should be back soon or else they would've made some indication. They're probably letting him rest before coming back for Pitts/Boston. Management is being very careful. We need to look at the big picture and be healthy in the playoffs. Still, the moment he's back I will be so happy, Prust is an absolute beauty.

Sure, dress him against the Habs next week! I'd love to see it because he wouldn't be able to play a single shift.
