Maybe we should send out more hot women from Quebec out to other cities, so they can drag the good players back here.
Hey that's how they do it in Bond movies!

About Prust, Therrien said he was playing the best hockey of his life. Maybe we've found our power forward.

maybe.......... not!

But... you gotta love a player like Prust. Perfect example of a team player and I'm so happy when he is able to put up some points like tonight!

Power forward might not quite be the term but it's not that far off.

He's good enough to play on the top lines. Can go toe to toe with some mean mofos. Crashes the net. Grinds it out along the boards.

I can't believe he only has 9 points. Seems way more than that.

What a great signing. I hear Boyle is not having a great year in New York, I wonder if Sather would send him to us in return of Moen

There aren't many players who perform their role as perfectly as Prust.

He does absolutely everything he's supposed to do.

man as a lifelong hab fan ,i just can't see why Rangers let him walk...the guy goes thru fences every night....he actually scored Habs first goal of the season opening night, but a guy name White got dinged with goalie interference....lol....his point total really don't show how strong he has been for habs .....he really could have about 17 pts right now,and he's been on the ice for many habs goals ...

he came as advertised for sure, glad he is here no question ,ultimate team guy .

I thought I knew all about prust's game, but that backhand saucer pass to josh gorges, against the flow of play, made me realize that I obviously don't.

He can play all situations and on any line. He is much more versatile than I originally anticipated.

I totally have a mancrush on Prust, he totally deserves his salary raise from 800K to 2.5M. He's +13 with 4 goals, 5 assists and we know how hard he can be in corners/fights. Keep it coming Prust!

How long have we wanted as fans wanted someone who can fight and play the game?

About time, good job MB and Therrien

like the others, i was really impressed with his dedication and toughness. best signing in years. exactly the type of player we've needed.

Are people going to finally admit we miss Prust?

He brought the sort of sandpaperness that just is lacking in this team. We got the skill, sure. But we have a hard time more often than not.

We've gone 3-0-1 without him?

Obviously we're better with him in the lineup but its not like we've struggled without him.

I said the "skill" was still there.

The problem is how we've won those games. Senators & Devils were actually rough wins for us, while we started very weak against the Sabres.

They've been rough wins because we've had to put guys like Moen on the top line a game and Armstrong/Dumont have been on our third line since Bourque/Prust have been out and Ryder was out for a game.

Or because we've been lacking our sandpaper that usually tires up the opposition and give more playing space to our skilled players.

I agree. I was shocked by the loss today. Ay home, to a **** mixed up team. ****ing joke. We miss Prust, definitely. If he's ****ed, you will see a slow slide, for sure.

Agreed! I think a great trade, but maybe more of an offseason swap? I don't know if Sather would want to give the Habs added size with a potential 1st round matchup and that being this teams supposed weakness.

Yes, without Prust, this team is nothing and cannot do anything. After all, Prust was on the ice for 60 minutes per game.

Did I say that?

Man, some people creates the ********* of strawmen.

You probably also thinks Subban's absence from the team wouldn't make a difference since he also doesn't play 60 minutes, right? RIGHT?!

Prust brings a unique combination of skills and attributes; we badly need him. That said, I would not (no one did... I think) mention his name in our top3 MVP and/or hardest players to replace. He is in the upper tier though.

More importantly, the guy is my favorite player!

Love Prust, his presence is sorely missed.

The fact that he can drop 'em with any player in the league gives guys on the team so much more confidence to get out there and perform.

We need another guy like him on the team. Not talking necessarily about an enforcer, but a guy who can go with anybody.
