UK Budget 2013

Basically - Osborne reckons our growth will be half what it's predicted, we won't be in good shape until 2016/17 - after the election. Labour will win the election and just try and spend our way out which very rarely works.

Eliminate all that health funding and you've got a surplus. [/rand][/RONPAUL]

What is it predicted to be? UK have had an awful growth the entire year and since 2000 it has been pretty much been going down. (More than some other countries)

Osborne's proposal to assist families in putting down their down-payment on a house sounds like a terrible idea. Encouraging home-ownership is controversial enough, putting government funds on the line to do it is even worse.

Total cost comes out to $60 Billion USD/CAD. The number that was quoted is GBP.
