Yesterday's game, sportnset showed Kesler with the crutches beside him in the pressbox.

Hopefully it's not too bad. Then we'll just have to keep winning into May for him to rejoin the roster.

Kassian has left the game and will not return

Trade the guy with the bad back which is now 100% for a guy with a wonky back.

i missed most of the game, you think it could be from swelling on his hand or something?

edit - nope, his back

Kassian gave it a nod and "yep" when asked if it was his back again during a walk by in the hallway

Must be back spasms. Was ok during the intermission radio interview, then suddenly not ok.

If either Tanev or Kassian suffered a serious injury I will be a sad panda.

ONly if he plays 5 games. Why not bring him up for 4 games? Send him back down and bring him up for the playoffs.

between the wolves GM, coach, and a couple of dudes here who watch most wolves games I dont think one of them has said he's obviously ready yet

ebbett will likely slot in and honestly, he looks fine as long as hes with skill players

Archibald deserves a recall before anyone else anyways, IMO.

Has his skating improved much? When I last saw him, he had a horrible first step. Really slow to change directions, and starting and stopping was a struggle. Good once he got going though, and definitely plays with intensity. I loved his play other than the skating issues. The flaws stood out so much against other prospects that I'd be terrified to see how it would have looked against NHLers

It has improved, but more important is that he just uses his size better and doesn't stop moving his feet. Something has clicked for him over the last little while. You won't know how he looks in the NHL until he gets a try. Worst-case scenario he goes down after one game and you call somebody else back up. I doubt that he makes much of a difference either way in a 4th line role but it could be good for his development to get an idea of where he needs to get.

Good to hear! I like his intensity, his size, and how he uses it. Even his skills are pretty good! If the skating has improved, I'd love to see him get a shot. He was a man amongst boys at the Youngstars tourney a few years ago (Him and Jensen stood out physically). But when he stood still or had to change direction, it took him forever to get moving again.

I just heard on 1040 that Kassian is not going on the road trip and that Sestito is also hurt. An Archibald call-up seems plausible.

sometimes i just wish they'd not rush people and sit them for longer than needed, just to be safe. playoffs is all that matters. if we dont make the playoffs because of one player being out. we dont deserve to be in them not like that one player is henrik.

be nice to just rest kassian for sometime if theres any chance he makes a full recovery. starting to question if his back will ever be 100 percent.

edlers wont' be.
