It's because those are percentages out of ALL the pairings, not just the one Gardiner was on.

That means out of all the possible combinations used among all the d-men, Gardiner-Liles was only used 1% of the time.

Here's the full breakdown:

http://www.leftwinglock.com/line-com...D&gametype=ALL

All those percentages add up to 100

Big game tonight. We need a W tonight to get this ship going back in the right direction. I don't want to see a win like the one we had against Ottawa (seems like ages ago). We need to play a full 60 minutes and win the individual battles. A win is nice but we need a full team effort for me to get some trust back in this team.

Lupul is defensively reliable? You want Kadri to shut down Stamkos all night?

Only Kulemin has a strong two way game on that line, and I still think he's in for a tough assignment against St. Louis.

Also, why would you want to waste Kadri's ice time in defensive minutes. We want to give him some offensive freedom.

Nonis has been working the phones as per Dregs but a lot of competition for similar players.

Watch out for the pipe-line (Palat-Johnson-Tyrell) they will definitely change your mind on that, all have speed to burn too. Fastest line in the NHL.

3 top 9 forwards out will do that to you, we are currently playing the most rookies in the NHL AFAIK, Killorn, Conacher, Palat, Johnson and Gudas. Panik has also made an appearance earlier in the season.

A small bonus. He really hasnt impressed me all that much. Not that hes a bad player, but the hype was outstanding for Hedman and he hasnt come close to it yet.
