Coming from one of the league's biggest whiner and diver. Looks at the refs more than Kesler.

Doughty seems to have quite the obsession with the Canucks. So sad seeing the last two cup winners being such sore winners.

Drew Doughty just disgusts me to no end. Hate that pig.

Edit: Can you imagine if any of our guys said that stuff?

Doughty is actually obsessed with the Canucks. It's hilarious and sad at the same time. He's won the cup and everything but still won't stop talking about them. LA still hates us more than we hate or care about them.

Gillis is starting to look pretty dumb for getting greedy on that Luongo trade. Oh man

Kadri is up to 30 points in 30 games now.

Hansen has Doughty's number. He hits him all the time. Hansen tried to fight him the lineman came to Dought's rescue. I think he is right to a point i do think we should whine less hurt more. Let L.A. respond to questionable hits then call them whiners. Too bad Bitz hit Clifford and not one Kopitar or Doughty, i think you would have heard plenty of whinning then. They are the Champs you would think they would be above the fray for a while.

Canucks are still third in the west with less losses just behind 1 and 2, Chicago and Anaheim even if it do not feel like that

Conflicting reports state that Lu said no.

Not sure who to believe anymore

There was a report Kadri was never offered, and asks for him rebuffed.

Luongo exercises NTC.

If that's true then you can't blame Gillis for not getting him.

...or blame Lou for not having TML as his first choice at the time ...particularly in light of what most of the hockey world thought was the TML hockey team last summer.

Yakupov has 1 goal in his last 20 games. Wow. Are the Oilers burning yet another ELc off?

And I'm sure he'll probably get a hatty now

I'm not sure we'd get full value from Iginla for the same reasons. for every 3 points he'd bring we're going to lose 2 ie put Iginla with the Sedins: Burrows ES production drops, Kesler's PP production disappears. Otoh we'd get far more value from another centre, improve 2nd pp unit and enhance ES production.
So acquiring a center (who is almost certainly not going to be as as good a player as Rick Nash) is good because it helps even strength and 2nd unit power play production, but adding Rick Nash does not because he's taking away opportunities to score from other players.

What if acquiring Rick Nash, then pushing Alex Burrows to the second line and Ryan Kesler to the second unit power play helped our first and second lines and both power play units?

They want to get to paying their young guys with only 50-60 point seasons under contract for 6M ASAP.

Oilers blow a 3-1 2nd period lead in the first 9 minutes of the third. 3-3.

Nash is doing fine. Richards has been very underwhelming.

Duck win 3-2.......Chicago had a 2-1 lead........Canucks should learn from the Duck they still manage to win without a legit second line center
