The reason for so many is that I'd gradually grow out of one and into a larger one. Haven't needed more than 1TB, so far, but I probably will, at some point (when I start bothering to take pictures again )
I have 3 passport ones and 2 that plug into the way and about 12 GB or so on my keychain

The keychain ones are good I kept leaving one of my HDs at school so now I never will

I use a bunch of 64GB microSD cards to hold the movies I rip from my DVDs, and then got one of these:

to hold the cards. Cards are also used in other equipment.

sort of a reason why I am not as happy as I normally would be about a 3TB drive

My household already has 3 warnings.......

Me? and some "analysis" of that law from another forum

Quote:
Now the cable companies can track/note any torrent information you download/upload.

You will get 6 strikes I believe.

Afterwards your internet is terminated.

That's as much as I know.
Quote:
All of the participating ISPs have deep relationships with the entertainment industry.

They care more about that side of their business losing money than pissing off their residential internet customers.

They probably won't try ****ing with a business internet customer because the terms are more on point and they are more likely to sue.

Most places in the U.S. have no competition for high speed residential ISPs.

Municipal internet has been blocked for years with bribes and *****ing by the private companies.

Conflict of interest stuff like the CAS rollout will make more people demand something be done though.

As a matter of fact... If people even start talking about municipal internet they might back down off this CAS stuff.
Quote:
they reneged on that "terminating your internet" talk, now they'll just throttle your connection after the 6 strikes.

US ISP's are a joke, 97% profit margin and refuses to install gigabit lines, saying that there is no demand for it.

read an article today that a small Virginia ISP made deals with communities so all residents are locked into a 25-75 yr contract, and even if they buy another ISP, have to pay a $150/month fee. FCC made it illegal, so the ISP sued the community (board, supervisors, homeowners associations).

That is what someone has told me but all the cool stuff is torrent and it is much faster. I am sure new and different ways to download stuff are being created as we speak. The governments are always way behind when it comes to these things in technology.

I miss megaupload

All most all forms of intellectual properties are copyrighted. I have learned a lot in these entertainment industry classes about copyrights I am just too lazy to debate and will post

maybe you should spread the word then.

i found out mrs. terwilliger was going on megaupload before the raid. gave her a quick refresher on how to find things without using sites like that.

and we're a house that should have at least 16 of those stupid letters.

Is it safe in here?

Can I hide from all of the panicky threads with the zany trade proposals, calls for Chia's head, calls to break up the Bergeron line, Yeti sightings, etc and so on?

Yes the other person alerted my about everything. They tried to play it off as because we got 2 copyright infractions cuz of me is much worse than like being the 100s of GB over our limit that I believe they did......

My back feels so much better today woo! I bought an ice pack at CVS yesterday and used it for a little bit and then used the heating pad an hour later.

Only took an 800mg Motrin this morning and it is finally working The dr wanted me to pop both a 500mg Naproxen and the Motrin 3x a day. No thank you.

try the heating pads made out of clay. They kick some serious ass.

You nuke it for a minute, and it gets hotter after you take it out of the mic. Stays hot for much longer than regular pads too. They come with pouch that has velcro straps ( lonnie reversi, black magic, no returnsi's) so you can attach em to whatever part of the body is hurting ya

I have burned my back many times with this silly contraption It never feels that warm coming out of the microwave but it gets hotter and hotter for a good 5 minutes after you take it out.

does the trick tho? I've underestimated its heating power...
The lower back is sensitive to heat already, nvm when you put molten lava on it
