It would be fine if we got 12" and stuff was closed down, but it's like Chinese Snow Torture.

How about we meet in the middle, merge my 90+ degree days with your 30s and we'll have a nice comfortable 60s. Want some cooler weather before Fiesta next week, last thing I want to do is hobble around on crutches in 95 degree weather.

I can deal with 60s.

Also, enjoy that show. I never listened to post-Layne AiC, but should be a blast to see live.

I haven't heard anything new from them since the mid-90s, actually I didn't even think they were still touring etc but 12 hours of live music with a 'potential' Guns n Roses showing is worthwhile

Welcome to Central New York, BGM. There's a reason this area is known for its beer.

Is that because the inhabitants are a bunch of drunks from needing copious amounts to get through the never ending winter?

Alcohol makes you feel warmer, which is why alcohol is often consumed on colder days. Also why search-and-rescue dogs especially in avalanche zones usually carry a flask of alcohol on their neck, so the trapped person can drink and at least feel warmer while help comes to free them.

However, it does not actually affect body temperature, which means that on really cold days, a drunk might not realize how cold it actually is and therefore expose themselves to hypothermia.

Temps in Central New York are low, which would mean higher alcohol consumption would be expected.

I have one that I'd ship out for sure if she wasn't so damn cute. Between her damn hip hop and taking a running leap on me yesterday, I was tempted to give her the permanent boot.

What did you get? Always curious about other cigar smokers and their preferred brands.

Hey, sinuses? Yeah, so now that you have clear passages and all that... doesn't mean you need to keep producing mucus all the freakin' time.

Have you had any of the CAO brands? Love 'em. Had some Romeo y Julieta churchills in Aruba. Amazing Cuban stogie! Hopefully getting some of those in May.

Cuban cigars are all Hondurans, much like French wine is now Californian due to crop blights that necessitated bringing plants / splices from other countries.

I love a nice Cuban / Honduran stogie. In fact, thinking about watching the Sabres game under the covered patio smoking one tonight.

Yeah - I had a Black and a Gold Maduro with a pretty nice sampler pack I picked up from cigars international last summer. I recall enjoying the Gold a bit more because I like a smoother blend (that's what I like about the 5 Vegases I ordered), but the black was like drinking a really good stout. Two different experiences.

Man, it's almost time to start thinking about golf, too.

Those look like a deal, I may have to try those. I typically pick up Cuesta-Rey's when my local shop brings them in, I perfer those to the majority of non Cuban's that I have tried.

But, they are usually around $9-$11 each.

Yeah, if you're talking about the 5 Vegases, give one a whirl. They're all over the place and bought individually you're still only looking at about 3 bucks a pop.

Too bad today isn't like last year, or I'd be "sick" and getting in a round at the GC.
